Ben is an amazing martial artist, as well as a dedicated teacher and great person. Ken is pretty legendary. Any open-minded martial artist can learn something valuable from them.
I remember Kenneth Chung saying that he was working on a book to explain his wing chun. Any news on this? To récord on video and read such a book would be a treasure. His personal instruction is priceless. Not to mention that as a person, I still follow him as my teacher and friend. I have known Kenneth Chung since the middle eighties. This man is a very special Wing Chun Practitioner and has been extremely instrumental in my life. He just happens to be my Si Tai Gung (My Great Grand Master) and the reason I understand Wing Chun Physics at a very high level. He's one of the best to ever do it without a doubt. And if you ever touch hands with him, you will never be the same afterwards. Because your knowledge will increase exponentially.

these are internal arts general dicta and nor Wing Chun theories...nonetheless, good try. There are core theories of wc, some 250+ of them. They are captured in 7 word, 5 word or 4 word verses.
I understand that Leung Sheung was a private man, but insights and personal reflections from Ken about Leung Sheung would be priceless. We see videos of other first year students and it would be great to hear Ken's remembrances, if he would share them.
Precision over power, focus over force. Beautifully taught. Thank you. Placing is very important, often seen with the Tan Sao, but in truth it should be present in every position from knees and elbows. Weight is controlled by both and they both become the "line" of force. They should work as one. Please make more videos with Sifu Chung. It is refreshing to see Wing Chun taught with clarity and thoughtfulness.

Not sure who made the dummy, I got it from my dads old Wing Chun teacher. My dads teacher use to study under Leung Ting until he met Ken and learned real Wing Chun.
Many of the other lineages of WC tend to try to clear the opponent's hands or guard to make an opening to hit...Kenneth's Leung Sheung lineage is different in that they intercept incoming fast strikes then stick to suppress or control the opponent while simultaneously striking. It's amazing to see and feels quite "magical" when you are on the receiving end.
If by "magical" you mean im about to "magically" shit my pants. lol I have touched hands with students of Sifu Ken Chung. I know the feeling of the lineage. Even if you think youre ready your bowels say otherwise. I was told not to eat a big meal before one of his students came to work with us....now I know why.
I took some classes with one of his senior students and that guy was one of the most impressive martial artists I've met or touched hands with. Thanks for uploading these.
More please!! I love the wet towel analogy, this such a unique concept that is so rare in modern Wing Chun curriculum. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have previously trained with his students. And I strongly urge anyone who is skeptical to go and touch hands with Sifu or any of his senior students.
mofotox i actually had the chance to attend on of his seminars and he is the real deal. he allowed me to attempt chi sau with him. the results were soreness the following day. he dropped the same relaxed for arms across my back after he dropped me.he locked my arms inches from his stomach and i could not touch him. i can't speak on your experience with wing chun but i was always in awe of the experiences had.
