Hello and welcome to my channel. This channel is here to serve and a personal documentary of my travels. I still maintain a full-time job and therefore my traveling is mostly restricted to the Pacific Northwest area of the US. It is my hope that someday I'll be able to fully break free from the bonds of a traditional job and make my living on the road touring the US/Canada/Mexico and more....
I would prefer to buy a portable shower with the electric pump already assembled & assembling it yourself is not a good idea you only showed us how to assemble the shower you didn’t show us how the shower worked

That little stove sounds like it could launch! LOL. It seems like a useful addition to the daypack. I may follow your lead. I'm still doing the old school with DIY fire starter though, like I used in high school. Diesel heaters are the bomb... as long as heat is all you need. Their bells and whistles do not have any sound though. 😂
Creator ideas: My advice is that you need to pick out a favorite successful Nomad content creator. See what he does and do what they do. Let them be your unwitting mentor. "Doin' your own thang ain't workin' " - I did like the lights out special effect. Good job.
Yea that's bs man. Seems like Covid production anything was shite. Even post Covid inflation era doom era things are still different than they've ever been. See you on the road 🤙
I tried this once and could not make it work. I cant remember why at this point but I may try exploring that option again this summer. I do also have a popup enclosure as well that I set up once in a while.
Got rid of all my plush towels, too hard , to long to dry...switch to walmarts microfiber beach towels and a few very thin beach towels. Even wash cloths are microfiber, the just dry so fast !
Really you would feel a whole lot better getting a 5 gallon bucket, filling it 3/4 and then adding your hot water, after that much work to take a bath/shower, may as well have a good one.
Unsafe and bad company. I do not want to put an improperly sealed electrical device into water. The instructions stated that there were 2 O-rings pre-installed. They were not. There were two O-rings and two black rubber rings in a package with no instruction. I emailed the company twice with no answer so I returned.
You are the only video on the Internet that shows how to fold this thing up. If you’ve got more professional with it, I’d really appreciate another tutorial. It took me over an hour and now I’m sweating like crazy and I still couldn’t fit everything in the bag I’ve got scratches on my arms and on my legs. So if you could do another tutorial, it would be greatly appreciated.
They claim to be able to use it as a tub and even provide a couple of liners. However, I would not try filling it to the brim or anything like that as I don't feel it could support all the water pressure on the soft walls.
You connected the 16mm cable directly to the bus bar without a 60A fuse? Given that your next protection will probably be your 250A battery fuse, if that wire shorts you're in serious trouble. You should have a fuse close to the bus bar, and one at the vehicle battery end.
The connection on the van battery side is fused. However, I do need to look into getting a fuse or breaker going to the bus bar. Thanks for the insight
Good info. We hope to have longer RV travels after retirement. Could probably use forwarding from home address to a location up the road a few days. And Amazon locker box if we need anything. Thanks for the ideas.
Mine in my tool trailer is on a pedestal so I can replace from above. Also, I've had them clog up multiple times over the years. I shut it off while it's billowing smoke which turns on the glow plug and shuts off the pump while the fan winds down. That helps clean out unburnt fuel. I've even put a leaf blower or reverse shop vacuum or even air nozzle from compressor over the combustion air intake to "blow ot out" adds extra oxygen to get the flame ignited again. Then it burns itself clean again! Hope this helps
Glad that room was better! We stayed in a room last weekend and laughed about not having a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower rod. I suppose a generator and heater would be a more immediate solution but where would you keep it?
I think it would have been more than reasonable to expect a discount. The water break maybe beyond their control, but the breakfast and ESPECIALLY THE WASH CLOTH!! THAT'S DISGUSTING!!
I just bought this for tent camping. My son is 7 and a hot mess in cold water. This way we can bathe in the tent and then hang it outside to dry after dumping it. The potty tent will be strictly potty so less work and mess for me. Do you like it? Edited to add: I know the pump shower spray thing is annoying to fight with but you use less water and you know how much you've got so you're not out of water with a soapy butt.
I do like it though I am finding that from a time perspective, it's still faster and easier to just use a gym when i am in town. I do like have this as an option when i am off grid though.
As projects are completed, it's reasonable that those types of content will slow down. I would still like to see camps and surrounding areas but don't get stuck in mud and/or snow! Think spring! 🌞
Mt goodness! You are driving my favorite road! When you think about the fact you are driving along the border of Glacier National Park... there should be 3 or 4 ft more snow! What is with this weather!? Great for travel, though. Pray for snow !
Love the drone footage. Ever do any fishing in those beautiful rivers? Did a 5 day guided tour down one of the forks off the Snake River in Idaho. Couldn't help but catch trout every time you threw your line in. All catch and release but still had a great time.
