You may know this already but the Orion gets quite hot so it may be worth moving that yellow cable away from the fins ?

You connected the 16mm cable directly to the bus bar without a 60A fuse? Given that your next protection will probably be your 250A battery fuse, if that wire shorts you're in serious trouble. You should have a fuse close to the bus bar, and one at the vehicle battery end.

The connection on the van battery side is fused. However, I do need to look into getting a fuse or breaker going to the bus bar. Thanks for the insight

This app information on the dc-dc charger from Victron is not really helpful .... interesting would be the charge current to the battery and the temperature from the device (because it gets really very hot ... about 58°C) .... it bothers me since I have this device .... the problem is ... as it gets hotter it reduces the charge current .... sometimes I have 22Amps instead of 30Amps ....

Other than to tell you the charge state, yeah, its really not that good of an app. I have not noticed any excessive heat from the unit yet but its still winter here as well. I also have not seen any noticeable AMP drop from my unit either.
