I'm a Maker, DIYer and Tinkerer. My projects range from woodworking to electronics and whatever in-between. I'm driven by a desire to be a jack-of-all-trades, master of none.
Generally, my projects are something that I need or want but I also make things just just for the heck of it.
I don't always know what I'm doing.
I make videos of my projects because I like the creative process involved, and I hope to pass on knowledge and inspire others to make.

I have a second channel where I post random stuff that you may (or may not) find interesting: ru-vid.com/show-UCRQw7OJ_ukdY5ilJT0Is1vg
Hi Adam Super nice video, and well explained. And it works. However, I allso have several dispensers with only 5 contact plates. and with a PIC16F677 chip. The print is very similar but I can't quite see what I need. Can you help? Otherwise
Yeah this post appears millennial. They never should have removed certain classes from high school in 2008 after the banking heist. It’s so hard to hire competent construction workers these days. Similar complaints to this video. Kids born in 89’ worried about a 401k Shaking it all ….
Hey Adam, appreciate the review and feedback. The auto lock mechanism is intentionally designed like that and needs to be balanced between locking and not wearing out instantly (as grip and wear resistance are inversely correlated). Undoubtedly highlights the need to create a full lock version for some users based on preference and issues that will be addressed in our long roadmap of future products!
@@AdamsLab no need to apologize just wanted to explain that they are different mechanisms with different intentions. We are happy to hear your feedback and just wanted to help provide some behind to scenes as to the differences and acknowledging that it is intentionally different.
Oh feel like it isn’t aimed at yourself when used with the rock app it does do a whole lot on the job site just my opinion I bought one along with the mitre saw attachment and they are amazing once you get your head around using them
I want one and I was about to purchase it. I watch other videos prizing this tool. You are the only one who has a true review; the good and bad. I will wait it it drops below $100.00. Thank you!
@@AdamsLab we never pay for reviews and never will, discussion and feedback is essential to making better products and we welcome feedback from all sides and perspectives!
@@AdamsLab yes we have done that but dont compensate for reviews with any payment or ask for any editorial approval before being posted - users are free to post whatever they want based on their impressions of the product
@@REEKONTools - I get it's an inconvenient truth, but getting free product is payment and incentivizes people (influencers 🤮) to not speak honestly on the bad things about a product. If I 💩on your product, fair or not, you're probably not going to send me anymore free stuff. While a reviewer/influencer may not rely on the product directly (there not turning around and selling it for example), they do rely on being able to create content around the product(s) they receive for free. They need the product to make content, you want your product to be promoted, you have a symbiotic relationship. It's quid pro quo, it's you scratch our back, we'll scratch yours. That no longer works (for you) if the reviewer/influencer is saying bad things about your product. If it no longer works for you, it no longer works for the reviewer/influencer because you're no longer going to send them free product to make their content around. While the reviewer/influencer may have the best of intentions, this symbiotic relationship is ripe for creating perverse incentives. You don't have to directly influence the review via editorial approval or have it spelled out in the contract, because the understanding of what you do for the reviewer/influencer and what they do for you is baked into the *business relationship* you create when you exchange goods (your product) for services (the review).
I like the T1 for very particular circumstances. But I find the locking mechanism annoying as well (it would have been nice to have a tensioner, to customize the strength). Sometimes the soft lock is useful, most times it isn’t.
I have a larger plastic one that is brand new and yellow with black visors, the LEDs already had clear removable lenses, so I just have to do the same thing with my lenses and it's done, nice video, very helpful
HARD S.I.M. HARD S.I.M. Sound Isolation Matireal might wanna use PVC Endcaps to hold the balls in place or just use larger MATS of soft rubber for your S.I.M more compressed the rubber is the less effective it is at isolating
Haven't had any issues with it walking. I have notices that the balls are compressing more and more over time and it seems to be affecting the dampening effect. I'm thinking of testing/switching to proper vibration-damping sandwich mounts.
They've designed it like a calliper instead of a measuring stick. It depends on the use case but a laser measuring device is designed for the calliper style measuring. Plus all they needed to do was put a finger brake pad on the bottom to have a good locking mechanism.
Are you saying you think they intended for this flaw to exist? If you watch their promo videos it seems they did intend this to be operable with one hand, which it’s really not.
Dude, it is a glue joint. How is it you don't know that? It got wet to many times. He doesn't know how to do the repair , that is why he is asking. Dude, just white glue and clamp, it will ladt another 50 years.

Microphotography shows that sanding tears the fibers at the surface leaving them weak Scraping I or planing leaves a much smoother surface with stronger fibers.
