It already had the Akrapovic Racing line Titanium installed together with the Yamahas original shortened tail tidy. @@supertony4708 there is a few annoying small problems with it. first thing is that after the engine is warm i wont start up again unless i give the throttle a squeeze. second thing is that i cant drive it comfortable in driving mode 1 because it dont run smoothly enough. My ECU was upgraded last autumn and after that upgrade it felt better but im back on driving on driving mode 2 cause the bike run so much smoother in that mode. other than that i think the bike is amazing and what i just mention it is not a big problem i think i think drive mode 2 is still great and i get what i want from the bike without any problem :)
maybe it needs to be activated by diagnostic tool from yamaha? also if you search on youtube "heated grips mt 09 2024" you see a guy who connects an aftermerket grips to gen 4 yamaha and has an grip warmer option on dash, also in manual you see grip warmers, maybe later yamaha wil provide new heat grips as accesory for the gen 4, i got fooled and order my yamaha with heated grips with turn out to be yamahas universal grips hooked directly to battery :(

I want to do the same on my bike, but struggle to find rivets that fit. I have found some black ones with a black plastic head, but i don't know how well they handle heat. What kind did you use? I have been looking for some that dosen't need much NM to break
No its perfect. i actually thought about your comment today when i took a ride and when i look down i hhave around 2-3 cm space between the bottom of the screen until the top of the cellphone begins.
I agree with themooch about the music, but thank you for putting the visor in front of the camera, I always wondered how it would look. Can you drive with it in the evening/night, or is it too dark then?

Well i agree it was now easy. But im my case it was already on the bike when i bought it. if it was up to me i would have bought a complete diffrent exhaust system. but now when i already have it im happy with the result i got after modding it
Är inne på att köpa ett eftermarknadssystem med cat också, men undrar ifall det skiljer mycket i ljud jämfört med original när man tagit bort db killer? Eller skiljer det inte allt för mycket ändå?
Tillräckligt stor skillnad att det var värt jobbet med att ta bort den iaf. Men hade jag valt att köpa ett system så hade jag definitivt inte valt ett system med cat. Är ju inte jättemycket jobb med att ta bort cat:en heller. det är ju nästa steg ifall jag väljer att göra detta. :)
@@guffemoto okej då kanske jag ska välja båda delarna så man kan byta mellan cat o inte, dock hört många som påstår att man måste mappa om för o inte riskera att förstöra motor etc, dock kan jag kanske tänka mig att många överdriver lite med 😅 man har ju i vilket fall som helst inte lust att sabba garantin genom att mappa :)

Every bike should have heated grips, they really make riding better in cold weather. I went the Oxford route, for less than $60. You can order the replacement heated grips for them, and then a 2-pack of Yamaha connectors(same as turn signals) and then just cut the Oxford plugs off and solder on the Yamaha plugs, and plug them right in and the dash recognizes them and lets you control them like OEM. They work on your bike, as well as my new MT-10

Yes you do if you want an perfect installation. When i installed these i dont have an torque wrench. but i got one shortly after i had installed them and took them away and installed them with the right tourque. it was awhile ago so i dont remember exacly what tourque the instructions said it supose to be. i can find out if you want me to ?
i think all MT-09 Gen 3 have this option. i might be wrong. atleast over here in europe we have this option. can you please confirm if its diffrence in the states
With my Ali radiator cover I got some protective foam and 4 rubber grommets. Did you get the same? Think it’s to stop the guard rubbing through the radiator
Its not heavy its made of aluminium so no worries. it doesnt move when hitting bumps. after having it for over a year i cant even notice that its there and it doing its job. i totally recommend to get one.
I have searched for a review, for the fenrir mirriors on the mt09 2021 for sooo long.. I bought highsider mirriors, but sadly they dont fit… so i gonna refund them. But i gonna buy these mirriors for sure!! The installation looks super easy 🤩😁

@@guffemoto tack , jag har hört när man byter kopplingen så kan farthållaren sluta fungera. Är det något du stöd på nu när du byt dina ? Jag tänkte byta det mest som du gjort med alla mods, men går nog för guld färger då jag tror det blir snygg med KYB dämparna eller va tror du ? :)
Hej. Har också hört att farthållare skall sluta att fungera men inte i mitt fall då måste de ha köpt fel handtag som inte hör till gen 3 såfall. Om du tittar på min video där jag monterar handtagen så finns det en länk där du kan se hur de skall se ut. Jag tror guld blir säkert skitsnyggt de med 👍
