Beautiful. I tried several times with different spray bottles and different tightening of the head and I always get large droplets on the paper on which the pigment runs down like crazy. Your colors are blending soo nicely. I will practise some more....

To me, this painting is a beautiful rendition of a peaceful seascape with a virtual flat calm and the water just gliding onto the shore so gently, hardly causing a ripple. Fabulous. I think you could get the effect you're looking for with acrylic washes of varied viscosity. but I really like what you've done, even the blooms. Inspiring, ty 😊
If you're thinking about taking Scott's beginners course - I highly recommend it. His approach is so freeing and I find myself going back for the reminders/permission to keep things loose and apply my own interpretation.
