Awesome to see you back on RU-vid! I would go on my walk in the morning, come back and have my coffee and breakfast muffin and watch you paint. Perfect routine.😊I really love this painting!! My favorite color combination. Very exciting and a bit ominous, but promising a beautiful sunrise, perhaps! You’re a master at this! I watch a lot of watercolor artists who try to do what you do. Gorgeous!!
Merci pour la lumière qui jaillit toujours dans l'ensemble de vos créations ! Je ne manque aucune de vos vidéos, votre travail m'inspire ! Dommage de ne pas parler votre langue, car je loupe beaucoup de vos conseils !
Hooray you're back, so nice to see you painting for us again Scott. I see its 3wks since this was posted, l hope the bell notifies me quicker next time. Rubbish turns into beauty, with patience. Love it. See you next time.....Alioban ❤
So great to see a new video from you Scott! I think this painting is spectacular, very vibrant with gorgeous light and a broody sky. I use Saunders Waterford C P paper frequently and love it but I prefer it on a block, stays nice and flat. I think I’ll give this a try!
Hi Pam! Thanks! I have used Saunders and Waterford before. This paper seems to have a strange regular pattern on it I don't like I will have a look at the other pieces of paper! Strange! Have fun! Scott
Absolutely love the painting! Awesome to have you back. Have missed your tutorials. I began watching your videos when I was a beginner. Thank you for always inspiring me.
I echo others in noting your frustration with aspects of doing this painting, like the paper, or the foreground color, yet you continue to apply your skills to bring it around to a painting worthy of a frame. Thank you for being honest and brave with your presentation.
Great to see you back Scott! Love the painting. I’ve been going to your channel regularly to see if there’s anything new and couldn’t believe it when I saw this. Please don’t leave it so long until next time!
Hey Scott! Echoing my IG comment . . . "Spectacular scene 💛 You really nailed it with the depth of your yellows complementing your beautiful blues! 💙 "
Hi Sue! Thanks so much! I can't believe you happened to be on when I uploaded it! I will be doing one a month now into the future until I quit my day job. I'm excited because I love making them and helping anyone in the process. Hope you are good and your painting is going well! All the best! Scott
Hi Anita! It is great to be back again! I do love painting without too much structure! A bit crazy but a lot of fun! Yes here's to many more vidoes into the future! Warm wishes. Scott
Scott, don't you just love it when you add a different colour like that yellow ochre and it immediately changes everything for the better. Well done mate. Love your work.
Loving this, that you can show that even a great artist like you can struggle with a painting. And it is almost always a thing, that a painting goes through an ugly fase before it turns out good. The yellow ocra saved it really. So nice to have you back on RU-vid. We all have missed you ❤
Great to see you back. Could you clarify which paper you used? In the video you said Arches in the written description you said Saunders and Waterford?
Do you think you could add alternative colours nxt to the ones you use, example ,an alternative to cadmium yellow ,so I can use the colours I have…thanx
Hi Lisa, if you are trying to contact me about the courses then the best email is: hello@scottswinsonclasses.com I hope that helps. I have not seen an email from you, I'm sorry if I have missed something. I definitely struggle to keep up with social media comments, messages etc. Warm wishes. Scott
If you have commented on one of my youtube videos, I have not been replying to comments on here for over a year due to time. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers Scott
@@ScottSwinson thank you for ur reply.I did msg on here once, asking what size and thickness the board is that you tape your paper and also what price your courses are in Australian dollars
Hi Lisa, I'm sorry for not replying. I use 6mm and 9mm MDF boards from bunnings to tape my work to. I know in some ways I should use thicker boards but I don't like the weight of them when I am turning them this way and that while spraying etc. Hope that helps. The course is $70 in Australian dollars. Here is a link in Australian Dollars. Happy painting. Warm wishes. Scott
