I’ve been trying to find ideas my brother (who is autistic) could make to get him into polymer clay, without it being daunting to him. I’m sure he’ll love making the chocolate bar & snake! Thank you so much for explaining the steps how you did, it’s so helpful. X
Red and Blue are secondary colors. Magenta + Yellow = Red. The reason yours looks orange is because you used too much Yellow. Cyan + Magenta = Blue, which it looks like you made successfully. You can then combine your secondary colors to derive the tertiary color Purple.
I've read a few books about color and whoo is it complex! That said, the light sensors in our eyes come in three kinds*: red, green, and blue. So, every color system is at the end of the day made to eventually emit photons in those three sections of the light spectrum. * it's biology so there are always variants because genetics is wild, y'all!
Wow very informative video and colour misconception is way more common than you knew but I am glad that you cleared that up. I am eagerly waiting for your next polymer clay compilation. Can you do a fairy bread themed charm as an Aussie it would really make me happy:))
Unfortunately, I don't enjoy making compilation videos the way I used to. I'm more proud of videos like this, and I think I'm going to stick to this style (at least for now). That being said, I'd love to make a tiny fairy bread, and I can post it to my shorts channel and tiktok/insta! :)🩷
Do u know if finger cots come in different sizes cuz the ones I got cut off my circulation! My fingers actually turned purple! Very clever video btw!👍👍👍
Cyan, magenta and yellow were a thing long before digital printing! All printing has used these three, I was there I know. That being said it's really different between liquid printing ink and polymer clay as the chemical compounds are very different. ✌️😊
Funny story I started with air, dry clay and struggled a lot. Then I got polar accident and struggled a lot. And now I have a whole bunch of air, dry clay and polymer clay that I need to somehow make use of but i'm struggling with them both😅
I find every detail incredible. I wanted to find a course to learn how to model this dough... but I don't think so, if anyone knows one, please... let me know! ☺
Thank you so much for this detailed and adorable breakdown. I just made a video on making a polymer clay figurine for my friends and credited you as one of the gurus that taught me so many tips and tricks.
Just got back into polymer clay today. I had collected all the supplies 2 years ago but now I’m off work for 8 weeks with knee replacement. Made veggie earring tonight. !!!!!
I like how you talk about how long everything takes, it really helps me manage my own expectations for myself and not get so frustrated when I feel like I’m taking a reeeaaalllyy long time
