Hot Pot 2 is a good melter. Do-it molds are the best for a beginner. Barlow's or Jann's Netcraft have everything you'll need to get started. Lead is hard to find clean and soft. Check local scrapyards.

I have been a Commercial Aquatic Herbicide Applicator for 30 years. Diquat is the wrong herbicide. Waste of time & labor. You need to have a translocating herbicide that goes into the roots. Spray cattails in the early to mid-fall ONLY-not any other time of year. Use Aqua Neat aquatic herbicide mixed with a non-ionic surfactant like Cide-Kick. Use 4 oz. of Aqua-Neat per gallon of water and 1 oz. of Cide-Kick per gallon of water. Spray on early, sunny morning. Wait for any dew to dry off leaves. Spray to wet but not dripping.
I had to do the same thing on my 66 back in 86 or 87 . But I greased it up with graphite. It's still working. Thank you for putting on great informational videos sir. .
You need to cure your parts in an oven to get the most durable finish. If you don’t cure them, the paint will be brittle. You should be able to drop your jigs on concrete, with some force, and they shouldn’t chip. I cure mine at about 350 F for about 25 minutes. I use a toaster oven. Don’t trust the built in thermostat. Get a food thermometer to check the oven’s actual temp.

Does anyone here know how the angeled hose fittings on the housing of water separator are connected? Do they have a inner thread? Some seals? On my yanmar sv08 excavator, I see some diesel fuel which is leaking between the fitting and housing. And I can easily move that fitting. I am not sure which spare parts are needed. I want to ask before I uninstall everything ;) My device looks very similar to your device.

Creeping primrose is extremely aggressive and is considered an invasive aquatic weed in most states. Roundup or its' generic equivalent mixed with a non-ionic surfactant is very effective at taking it out permanently- and much cheaper that Diquat. Pulling it is a waste of time and effort. I've tried Diquat like you did and it knocked it back to brown but came back with a vengeance two weeks later.
Use Clipper aquatic herbicide on the creeping primrose. Use 1 oz. per gallon of water. add 1/2 oz. of spray adjuvant like Cide-kick. Any non-ionic surfactant will work. Product hurts nothing in pond. Degrades in a few days.
No way! I bought this tig welder after I paid a welding shop to repair another boat. Their repair leaked. I made up my mind I’d never pay for another weld repair. I’d figure out how to do it myself. I bought this TIG welder for a previous boat remodel. That other boat is the only TIG welding experience that I had before this build. I have been arc and mid welding as a hobby for 30 years though so I have a lot of fundamental understanding of welding going into tig welding.
I just gone my self. I just spent the last day ripping the entire deck apart. Tomorrow be re plywooding, doing some decking and hopefully be on the water in a week !
hey man liked the video. I did the same with a troy built pony but was unable to set it up where I could have reverse. I'll have to go and check it out tomorrow. get some details on what the problem was and hit you up. I had one of those old big troy built tillers like that years ago. I miss it now because it had the separate shift levers. thanks for the video

What do you think would cause my engine to piss fine at idle but with higher rpms it stops pissing and over heats. I just replaced the whole water pump and impellar and never had that problem until i did that
@@74nova36 i figured out the problem. I never greased the impellar and its housing. I belive it got burnt up inside. Bought a new kit greased it up this time and so far its running perfectly
6:53 Looks like weak metal where you're installing the harness. I believe that in a hard accident it could fail. It should be reinforced. If anyone does this please follow up on how to.
