You look great either way but at the end of the day, it should be about being yourself and not *trying* to come off as masculine or Tate-like, which is ironically a feminine behavior.
@@joshmoxey. Not neccesarily my point, gravitate to what feels right for you. If that happens to be more "masculine" then dope. To be fixated on it, like the Tate followers ironically doesn't seem masculine to me. Idk I tend to praise individualism and authenticity over aesthetics, personally. Not a dig but a warning that "trying to be" something is fools errand, just be you dude. Don't fall for gurus.
@@PariahPsypomp6775 if that’s your real point, I agree that there’s definitely some truth to that. ie. trying to be alpha is inherently not alpha. But to never take inspiration from others is a fools errand imo. Great example is Arnold, and how he inspired a generation of masculinity. Same thing is true with Tate as well, though I do understand where you’re coming from as there are a lot of super young dudes trying to figure it out. Authenticity is great, I agree. I’m a big fan of keeping it real and not BS’ing. But in this context it can just as easily be a cope and lazy way out to become something greater. It’s a very nuanced concept, but I think you get what I mean
@@PariahPsypomp6775 also definitely agree around not overvaluing aesthetics too, but in this case, long hair is more feminine & short hair more masculine, and since I’m a man it’s an easy choice lol
@@joshmoxey. That's actually all good stuff. I'm all for taking care of yourself and self-empowerment total agreement and people do need to stop coping for their pathetic states. Where I differ is that I am a critic of gurus and Tate is a guru, one I happen to agree with more than others fwiw. Inspiration is good but reverence of people like this reminds me of Thus Spoke Zarathustra a bit. I am a bit of an outlier though, given I don't feel as impacted by the "state of young men" so easier said from the outside. Total tangent: It's funny that you find long hair feminine because most of my masculine influences have long hair. Rockers, metal heads, my dope uncle. I do think aethstetics like this are culturally relative based on time and place. Hell, men used to wear corsets and heels and even I'd associate that with femininity. At the end of the day its all about what you like and what feels right. Letting the outside world dictate this stuff is lame to me.
5:54 this is why I don’t dye my hair fun colors anymore 🥲 I loved having purple and I loved having maroon, never did blue or green since I know those stain like crazy but I stopped bc I wanna be conventionally beautiful and attract a higher caliber of guy.
Based. I used to find coloured hair on women very attractive back in the day, but now it's a total turn-off because it's often a precursor to all this stuff I dislike lol. Great call on your end, I'm sure it'll help you a lot. All the best
Awesome video dude! Was wondering what you do for work just to pay the bills while you pursue your consulting, youtube, etc. Really inspirational stuff!
I would have waited, you still had a lot of hair. When you cut them you had a very thick buzz cut. But I understand the desire to move on. After all, whether you go bald, sooner or later makes little difference.
I have the most beautiful hair man can imagine but i moved to another city and Lost my hair due to hard water. Spent s lot of money on treatments but i give up it's time for me to do ut
As someone who's recently lived in cities with some of the hardest water in all of Canada, I feel you bro. Trust, you'll be happy with short hair/no hair too
@@NiMo5048 I have strong genetic but i Used to do Game of thrones hair style also Witcher Elves all kinda hair. Never in my entire life I used oil product's or anything. So since I moved to Germany after 2 week's I saw my hair start falling off on my body comb everywhere but then I started treatments you name a oil and products I bought it no sulfate shampoo everything I used nothing worked I started using mineral water so it worked for me like I lost 15 hair a day now but my old hair are not growing I can see my scalp now the thing crossed my mind if I shave it i can treat it properly
I kind of liked your hair, but I must say you really rock the bald head. It looks much better than hair. But I decided to go bald by choice well over a decade ago, and I love being bald. I like the look, the awesome feel, and the convenience. And studies show that men with shaved heads are perceived by others as taller, more confident, and stronger. What's not to love about it? And I've noticed recently a lot of really young guys (in their mid- to late teens) and 20 somethings are choosing the slick look. It seems to be a trend. Anyway, it looks great on you, and I think you made a good decision.
Appreciate it man. Bald by choice is the move for so many reasons! I’m right there with you. And yes, more and more young men have chosen to shave their heads for simplicity & ease or because of Tate or leaning into their masculinity. Thanks for watching RJ 💪🏻 all the best
Thanks, brother! Check my second channel, Josh Moxey+. I aired an extended cut on there, 4x more haircut footage 👍🏻 Out of curiosity, what intrigues you about the process? Is it just satisfying to watch?
Every guy wants to have long hair on a certain point in his life. I got it myself, but once i got bald again it was such a relieve! Just hit the shower, don't have to use all those freakin' shampoos and conditioners all the time to keep it healthy. Just easypeasy like we men are used too! And before you cut if off, you could always go to a barbershop and donate your hair for a good cause! But it has to be like 30cm or else they cannot use it!
Right there with you. It’s was an experience worth having once, but the simplicity is goated. And no way, I kept the hair for myself 🤣 still in my closet
Bro my hair is long and curly, and to be honest i go to the gym im pretty big and fit i don't feel feminine at all and im really productive. And you said about the long hair for people see how you look to be honest i don't give a shit of people i do it because i love it that's all
George, part of it is simple common sense (many men go bald naturally, unlike women). It's also stated in the Bible (Corinthians) that hair is a woman's crowning glory and that men with long hair are a disgrace (shameful), but I doubt you care about that, right bro?
Josh you look great either way . I am in the process with my middle son of growing out our hair to donate for wigs . My youngest who just turned 13 has rocked the shaved look by his choice since age 7 almost weekly , there’s a long story to that and before he was terrified of haircuts and his hair was below shoulders . My oldest wanted to grow his hair long once .,about 2 years ago but gave up on it . Hair is a choice and I have had shaved and longer than it is now . I am 48 in august and my middle son and I have a genetic blood disease and can’t donate blood we want to give back . My oldest who will be 17 in July can’t wait to donate blood with his mom and my best friend since childhood who married my wife’s best friend since childhood and a whole group of other relatives and friends of his and ours . I do give back but this is a freebie give back . I figure I’m about 16-20 months away and maybe one semi big haircut when my hair is almost out of the awkward stage .
dude shaved his head because of Andrew Tate, who said long hair is feminine? its masculine like a lions mane, don't listen to these so called alpha males like Andrew Titties they are all just show offs
Dope video man 🔥 although I do think Tates explanation is a cope because his hairline failed him. Even Myron went ahead and got a hair transplant instead of going bald
thanks brother! If you've seen the full clip, Tate's story is about why his Dad forced him to cut off all his hair when he was just a kid, so it dates back to before his hair thinned out. And even if he's just rationalizing it looking backwards, the principle still remains true for men as a whole 👍🏻 and yes, transplants are still a solid move for people, but firing your hairline before it quits on you is definitely the move too 😂
Brother, w video and I will probably not shave my head. Although I love the part about moving into a better part of your life! The smallest changes create a better path and you have what it takes brother!! Going to watch the behind-the-scenes video!!BIG DUBS FOR THE BACK HOME!!
