It was cool until 37:00. Light primer strike was likely due to gummed up oil crud in the mechanism. Because it was wicked cold and Oros didn’t have a freakin workbench to meticulously clean off excess oil from that rifle. This was not some shaman curse witchcraft.

They likely reason Oros’s rifle didn’t fire is he had a dud. Old surplus Lee Enfield rifle with likely 40+ year old WWII surplus ammo. Duds happen. Was this logical likelihood enhanced by supernatural forces? No way to know for certain

Yeah in the 1960's they were way braver and overall tougher. They had to struggle to survive, almost everyday and had no choice but to be tough. In this modern age of technology, people don't work as hard, don't struggle as much, and are weak. If I was an alien species I could assimilate the entire globe in three weeks on conquest.

Crazy or Not From living in deep woods I certainly can say using aircraft close would alert anyone . These places do not have regular air traffic and you can read the body language of the aircraft rather nosing around or passing through.What are they doing asks one self ?On the ground as a trapper and hunter 5 miles around me I knew of anything that changed as I watched for animals. That's why Army special operations leg it to their target, it's quieter. Perfect example of one reason for missing people deep in national forests. The grave is already dug past 10 feet deep. Kill for a coat or shoes. These kind went off public record years ago after wanted for other crimes. Other than Mountain Lions it's a lone person like this makes for people deep in forests to disappear.
Guess he was right on feeling the government was out to get him. When you started the story you said someone went missing and government automatically said it was him and went to arrest him on a stolen charge. They didn't go after him before for it but did to convict him lol
