This is awesome. Have been waiting for someone to do this. Some constructive criticism: Remove that cowbell (or tone it down as it's so loud that it's distracting from the song) and the crowd chatter and other film dialogs and it will be perfect!
The cowbell is on the HTH album and the backing track is from my upcoming remix of that album. A bunch of the songs on that album have cowbell overdubs.
I had a fever and the only prescription was more cowbell. Here’s a version without the movie stuff but I didn’t put it on YT… drive.google.com/file/d/1wjQfxIiOdHO1ZXY5hK4zs2iCU0MLmOhM/view?usp=drive_link
This is very high quality. What a find and thank you for uploading it. If only the 4 egos could get along. But they put together some amazing music while they were together.
By this time, peter and ace were just going thru the motions and pretty loaded... but still this is a typical 70s show for every band, which makes it great. Nice job on putting this together
By sept of 75, they were the shit. Our high school football team played the live album before every game in the locker room. Then on holloween which was on a friday we painted up our faces for the game. Thats how it was kids in the fabulous 70's
Who would have known that in 2024, Abner Devereaux would return to win the battle he started back in 1978 by taking over the real Kiss, replacing their minds, and unleashing Kiss Avatars to the world. Armageddon unleashed.
Dude, you’re remixing Hotter Than Hell?! Thank god! I’ve never liked the original Mix! If all the songs sound this clear, it could very well be one of KISS’s best albums! Can’t wait to hear it!
Yep. HTH is absolutely among the very best the classic albums, but always sounded pretty horrible. I’ve remixed it completely from scratch (but not to sound “modern”) and will be posting it in about a week for the 50th anniversary.
I saw this tour, Cincinnati, Ohio. Still have the ticket stub. I was 10 years old and my beloved late mother took me, (miss you mom, love you) my brother, cousin, and my best friend. I still have the tourbooklet as well. What a show. Judas Priests opened for them.
Madison Square Garden 1979. Anyone remember that Volkswagen Beetle all decked out with the KISS logo and stickers driving around town? I need a hot pretzel….
