Well done mate!! I mean, everyone can film a forrest, but you do It and tell a story. That is pretty amazing. Also, you're so good at finding that prefect perspective and angle to make that specific tree look beautiful in a very mysterious way. Grading - superb!
Thank you, those forests are mysterious indeed, the photography habits are hard to shake off so I keep on looking for different angles, it pays off sometimes.
what a seamless composition of drone and standard camera shots! Very cinematic! the music and sfx design is amazing especially reading that you've created it yourself - it's impressive! Keep it up! 👍
Thank you, I'm quickly falling into the traps of field recording, such a pleasurable and relaxing experience. So is music making, but boy it takes time and a lot of second guessing at the level I'm in ...
@@DMDCineAttic regarding music, I do believe that it reflected a relevant mood maybe not exactly what you felt, but still really good and far from what I often experience when surfing around. But I think I understand you, finding the absolutely perfect music is really hard, sometimes frustrating, but also a lot of fun. Music can support or ruin a video, an is often the main reason for me to watch, or not. The other day I commented on a video where I thought the music was spot on, and he was grateful because he had spent a lot of time looking for the right sound. As for creativity I continue to do what I like, and sometimes others like it as well😉. But you never understand what will work. I posted a video “different shades of Stavanger” which might be my best video in terms of editing. But with the exception of a pro film maker I know, who loved it, it haven’t had many views. Last project was fun, really long, and rather different. It was a music video for a local, not very known, musician and a friend of mine. One might like the music or not, but I’m pretty satisfied with the video. I used a lot of Sony FX30 and really love to develop those hand held camera skills. So I guess I can say I’m still very fond of this little hobby😊😊😊
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that I managed to slap something together, it was the first time making music for me so it took some time, I don't have any musical background other then listening to tons of it, hopefully it gets better with practice although I prefer to spend my free time filming/editing. I'll check your work, yes this hobby can be very rewarding and frustrating at times :)
This turned out Wonderful! The sfx, images and edit is great. What an honor to know that two of my tracks would underline such a meaningful activity in yours and your children's lives. It is rare to see where my work really lands in the end. Music which I create more or less in a type of hermit-mode, isolated from any human interaction which on the other hand brings us all together from different parts of the world in the end. This is something very satisfying to see and experience. So thank you for sharing.
Awesome to hear from you, it is fascinating how individual journey intertwine, I don't even recall anymore how I came across your music in this chaotic world, but had your songs playing in ear buds on repeat when recording this. Please keep going and thank you so much for stopping by and your very kind words.
Long time, no see. But this was worth waiting for. This was actually so good, words won't express well enough how I felt watching it. The angles you find! The color! The playfulness! And all the hours you must have put into this video...
Thank you, good to hear from you again, I’m sure you know very well the sinful amount of hours that went into this :), but hey, that is what hobbies are for. RU-vid compression “mutilated” some scenes with gentle colour gradation, especially the opening, but it is what it is.
Amazing video my friend. Slovakia is my home country, but I haven't seen such a great video for a very long time. I love the theme. 'Slovakia from view of a 'slug hunter''. Really artistic, and the video production is really awesome. I really enjoy your work. Keep it up. 👍Have a nice weekend. 😎
Glad you enjoyed it, I certainly had my share of fun making it 😉. Most importantly I finally have my parents in a video, even if somewhat obscurely, but I’ll take it. Thank you for stopping by.
Yea. It's nice to add also something personal to the video. I think you've done awesome job with introducing your parents to the production. 👍Have a nice Sunday.@@DMDCineAttic
Marvellous!! You actually made a action film with slugs!! Love it. Beautiful scenery, well graded. And, as always, there is a “storyline” that keeps it al together. 😊😊
@@DMDCineAttic Canada is really huge, so I guess I’ll have to narrow down my wish a bit… I would love to experience the autumn colours that’s for sure! Experience the wilderness while backpacking for a couple of days (but no bears). Life is good. I’ve been outdoors most of my free time - preferably in a tent. May til September is the the best time of the year. Love it. You’re good?
All that can be guaranteed except the bear part :), that you just can’t control. It’s been busy summer, went to see my parents in Slovakia, kids spent the entire summer with their grandparents and cousins and family, not much filming done though. Did some non-public family stuff, but finishing one from Slovakia for the channel, out on Friday if I manage to put the finishing touches to it. How about u, any new work coming out soon?
@@DMDCineAttic I’m really looking forward to the film from Slovakia😊😊 I’m planning a interrail trip together with my oldest son next summer, travelling through Central Europe. Slovakia is on my list😊😊 When it comes to hobbies I’ve got a on/off button. I filmed a lot from January to May, but then took a break until just a couple of days ago. Now I’m loving it again. But I did some filming in May at “Vassøy backyard ultra” and I’m probably ready to publish something this weekend. I mainly doing on behalf of the organisers, but I’m using my channel to make it legal (music & sound). I’m in the part of the process where I do small corrections and changes probably no-one else will notice. I guess you’ve heard of it😉
WoW Amazing Flight good music great View I enjoyed watching it to the end 👌. Good control of the drone just Fantastic and let’s keep on Droning Alwas Safety Brother Cheers 🍺🍺🍺👌🤠
Your channel deserves a lot more subscribers than you currently have. Your videos are beautiful, editing, Sound disign, color grading and so on... I greatly admire your work and hope to be able to do the same one day. Well done. 🙏
Thank you so much, I'm flattered that you'd see my work as a source of inspiration, that is what it's all about. I don't know, I'm already surprised that so many people would dedicate their time to watching my hobby videos. Anyway, I'm doing my own thing and utube does its own, all is good. 👍 Have fun creating ! That is all that matters really. Take care.
I have to mix it up, anything to keep me interested, this one is a little drone heavy, it just worked out this way. Thank you for your visit and kind words.
