I hear everything you are saying. I, too, was trying the Etsy thing. It's too much hard work for little to no return. I changed when a local lady was asking for a name to be embroidered on a baby jumper on my local page. I answered, did the job, light bulb went off. That was so much easier than seo and all that other time consuming stuff on there. Have now built up a little and it is improving each month.
Hi Kelly. Don't doubt your talent. I have a Ricoma and I hate doing hats too. I use painters tape on the band to get a better grip for my cap hoops. Keep up the great work sweetie. 👍
You give me the confidence to buy one too. The addition of the air makes me a little nervous because I don't have your "tinkering" talent LOL! I always enjoy your videos, you are so easy to follow and I appreciate the transparency. I often refer others to your channel because you do an amazing job with teaching. I would LOVE more laser videos. I want to try to sell acrylic business cards.
Mine came with the used machine I bought. It was for wide frame and some other cap frame. Good deal but I haven’t used it till now. I almost has a stroke 😂trying to assemble it else. it was a black magic 😂 Well the hat didn’t turn out right but it was for a friend so she wasn’t upset
I’ve been able to get the design lower by using both parts of the clamp on the sweatband and not have the brim in between them. It will allow your design to be lower to the brim.
Thank you for this video, I have just gotten started and hats are going to be my primary aim. I have other branches that I work with including laser engraving and leather patches so I figure embroidered hats will flow well. Anyway, I have recently ordered some pony tail hats The criss cross and some of the strap back hats. The problem Im facing is that the hats want to move down on the hoop when I place the bill in the bill clip thing. Im going to try another one this evening when I get home. If you have any tips on these hats I would appreciate it. They are very soft and "worn" looking. Thank you
