I am a FoxBody Mustang fanatic. You can expect project car builds, how to's, and show recaps on my channel. I upload two times a week every Sunday and Wednesday at 5pm eastern. Live streams are the first Friday of every month at 8pm eastern. I love all different kinds of vehicles and try to make entertaining videos.
Not sure any more honestly, most the carpet has been bad and not cut right. You could try LMR, they used to sell AC carpets I think which was good back in the day.
I have an 1982 capri RS that I'm almost done rebuilding. I hope to have it as nice as this one some day. I'll do everything in my power to never part ways with it because of how rare they've become and how much fun they are. Thanks for the content
My favourite year of the Mustang! Personally, because my mom in 1992 bought a automatic 5.0 same body. And that car man every time I would hear that as a kid arcing up.
I'm not even a little bit of a ford fan. I don't even want one of the new mustangs. BUT the 4 eye foxbody with ANY engine swap is definitely one of my favorite cars.
@@GearHead704 I think my problem was $50 ebay oil control rings. I'm going to remove the engine again and install Mahle oil control rings. The compression is great. The engine has a ton of power.
I bought a off the lot brand new 93’ reef blue notchback and sold it after about 2 years and I get sick to my stomach every time I see one of these now.. 😢
Great video Matt !!! My goal before I die is to own a foxbody mustang again. I have owned 2 in the early to mid 90's.I should've had my ass kicked for getting rid of my 88 GT 5.0 because it had T-Tops. But I hope to accomplish my goal and preferably I plan on getting a 93 Cobra SVT in teal blue. Anyways your channel helps me to stay motivated. Thanks Matt !!!
That's so good to hear you enjoyed the videos. I hope that you are able to get that 93 cobra and don't worry we have all experienced letting those special ones get away.
@geardhead704 Matt great vid. Love the car. Question do you know where he got the Rustang emblem. Mine is also called Rustang and that emblem is the cake. Thanks Keep up the good work.
I knew a guy years ago that could do a heater core in an hour somehow for very cheap. I have no idea how he did it and he passed away so I guess I never will. I dropped my mustang off and picked it up an hour later with heat. I’d love to know how he did it.
The 347 will wear pistons and rings much quicker than pretty much any other. Combo....they have a bad rod angle ratio that puts a lot of side loading on pistons etc..also gudgeon pins are way up in ring packs -causes Quick ring wear-- 347 are only good for making torque ....the 331 has a near perfect rod angle ratio , so no extra wear in motor...331 will put rev and out perform the 347 for longer anywayz..go 331 every time...also if U don't want 331 crank send it my way..👍👍😁..
Hey Matt, are the turnbuckles still in place under the front fenders like in the pics while the car was at MM when the flares were being installed? Or was that simply for mock up?
I DD'd my Fox when i was 20.... only took me a year and half to hydroplane it into a guardrail. Broke my heart, wasn't even speeding. Just crusing at 30 to work one morning. Road turned and the car didn't. Now I'm in the market for another one at 37 that i can leave at home unless its nice out.
Say if i have a 450hp 🦊 Fox & i only upgrade the front brakes, with some heavy duty break pads on the Rear can i still keep the rear drums on my Car? Because i like my drums but i want to be safe to stop 🛑 as well.
Depends on what you want to do with the car really. I always say if you're gonna have drums just be sure you give yourself enough distance to stop. Mine has about 400 hp and I've never had a problem with the drums. Whatever you decide enjoy the car.
@@GearHead704 how often do you change the drum brake pads with 400 HP.? Since that's in the Neighborhood I want to make. I wants to drive my car daily for the most part but strip race on the weekends.
Thanks you so so s so much for the video I'd may buy a 1988 Mustang GT convertible and it needs to be restored to i'v have to see it thanks you again. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Does anyone know the whereabouts of the actual 1979 pace cars built by Jack Rausch? Hot Rod Magazine did an article on them. They had blueprinted 302s with 4 barrels and C4 transmissions. Also did away with the TRX wheels and tires as I recall. Also seems like he built three of them. Motors weren’t radical but had enough extra ponies to handle the speeds the pace cars were required to maintain.
First time I seen a SA10 was at Knott's Berry farm socal CA Ford show. Joe Gosinski from Chicane Motorsports (former employee for Saleen) introduced me to a guy who he sold the SA10 to at the show. RIP Joe G
Thanks, Matt. These videos will really help me. I had watched them when you first released them...but I'm in the process of pulling my dash out today, so I watched them again!
