One thought about doing the cutting vs the inside text first. Doing the cut side first will require you to insert that cut piece inside when you do the inside text. Doing the text first, you have a smooth piece of paper that you're sliiding under the mat when you go to cut the other side.
I'm keen on the bundle access downloads however I use design space either on my phone or iPad so would like to know if the downloads works on ipads and mobile phone?
Can you show how to make one that folds out from the backing that interlock with each other? May have to cut to fit the exact dimensions of your project, but thinking that would alleviate the one that isn't as strong in cardstock. Thank you! I'm glad you posted these ideas!
Thanks Sarah, Great idea to make the stands for various designs. I was wondering, on the on the upright stand made of cardstock, would a small piece (pieces) of cardstock attached to the back of the design and the stand help to support it better?
Thank you for this tutorial. I recently purchased the same printer. I am guessing that you can print any image as long as you print from your sublimation printer , should work for your project. Do you agree?
Please can you email a screenshot or photo to sarah@craftwithsarah.com so that I can take a look, including the layers panel? Also, there is a more recent version of this video here which may be more help: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S58PzZvhQBY.html
Sarah, thank you for the card videos and the svg’s that went along with them. I have enjoyed watching and learning from you. I was 10 minutes too late to get the fractured card svgs but appreciate you sharing how to make them myself. I also was part of the Christmas countdown last year and have enjoyed making the 3D ornaments for that one. I have the Joy and Joy Xtra so I am unable to make any with score lines (until I can get a bigger machine). Thank you again and hope to join your next countdown.
You are so welcome, I'm pleased you enjoyed it! I recently released a video on how to score without a wheel or stylus/how to score on the Cricut Joy which you might find helpful. It's on my channel. 😁
The SVG for this card and the box is available in my SVG shop here if you would like it: shop.craftwithsarah.com/products/mini-album-card-template?_pos=1&_sid=431c3fdd9&_ss=r 🙂
Thanks for these instructions. I’m trying to do something similar and hoping this will get me there. I wish we could have seen the layers printed before assembly. I’m not clear how the bees printed with black, yellow and white. Can you explain that. Tia
Are you struggling with how the bees go together or how you layer them in Design Space? I wonder if the written tutorial might be helpful for the specific bit you're struggling with www.craftwithsarah.com/countdowns/diy-layered-cards/
Thank you for sharing the card projects. Your instructions always teach me something new about cricut design space. Yes, leave the oopsies in. It just helps to show what problems we may encounter while crafting your projects.
Thank you for sharing these files and tutorials these past 10 days. You are very talented and I look forward to making a number of fun cards for my family and friends! Thanks for also sharing the things that don't always turn out perfectly - good to know trouble shooting techniques and examples of giving ourselves grace while creating :)
Thank you Sarah! All of your tutorials have been wonderful! I appreciate you showing how to work around things when they don’t always add up, it is very helpful. I love all of the cards, especially since I also like to use butterflies and flowers in the majority of my cards.
Thanks Sarah!!! I would only make those beautiful cards for special occasions. I have two friends that are turning 60 this year, so I can make something like that. You're so creative.
