Hello I’m not sure if you still use this channel but I love this so much! I’ve been thinking of getting a hollow body to get a similar rough twangy sound. Do you recommend the Broadway if I want to get a twangy overdriven glass breaking tone?
I want one of those old Harmony's so bad. A Hollywood with one or two DeArmond pickus. Right now I only have a couple Duolians. But I'll work it out : )
what makes this version more popper than the other? is it that he strums each note harder? I guess when u are on poppers this produces a pleasurable effect.

I will be getting an Eastman MD615 that has the K&K Sound Duotone. I am intrigued by how it sounds through your Classic 30. I am definitely going to try this through my Matchless Laurel Canyon and see how it responds. Thanks for the idea!

Sorry for the very late reply, friend!. I know nothing of its history. I paid 900 bucks years ago. Got it from a rich dude in montreal. Had a sweet strat collection. Unfortunately had to sell the guitar to get another one. I regret it everyday
Ya! That’s what the mighty Guild sounds like. I have a 60 Capri. I was on the edge thinking about whether or not to buy a vintage 47 amp like this. You have cemented that deal for me. Thanks
Ive had that vintage 47 for years and i will NEVER get rid of it. I wish i could say the same for the guild. 😭 had to sell it to get another guitar when i was broke. Big mistake.
The picture at 1:09 I believe is Homesick James, Elmore's cousin and at least according to Homesick, from a Guitar Player Magazine interview about 1994 the musical director of the Broomdusters.
I say this with a great deal of thought it's a toss up for me as to which band or individual I would want to see if I was granted that wish and it's between Elvis, with Scotty and Bill (The Blue moon boys), Robert Johnson, or Elmore and his Broomdusters.
Both versions are great. Fahey re-recorded his first album twice. This was the 2nd version of Uncloudy Day which showed up on the last re-recording in 1967.
