K & K twin internal mandolin pickup...begining of ''battle of evermore'' by Zeppelin with a little too much echo from the Boss DD7.
installed it myself in about 2 and a half hours...note that 1hr of that was spent looking for the right drill bit and tools. so it was pretty simple. the hardest part was just adjusting the nuts so they fit the block...other than that it was pretty straight forward. i have to give it to K & K...it's a really nice pickup system.
coupled with the K & K pre-amp it sounds beautiful...without it it sounded loud enough too but the added boost and tone control you get with the pre-amp is very welcome.
