I thought the Titebond glue number 3 is waterproof, 2 is water resistant according to the bottle. Did you happen to sand down the glue and canvas at all before the last coat of glue? Did you ever consider ACM paneling the exterior, or was it too expensive?
Holy shit! I’m sorry. When you showed the fountain I yelled that. Dude. This is incredible and I’m obsessed. I have more comments to make but let me keep watching the video! Amazing!
Aww your daughter is so cute! Ok I’m done with both videos and I’m obsessed! What an incredible job you both did! I just can’t believe it!!!!! I was looking up diy concrete steps and found this. Thanks so much for making these videos! I’ve been working on a fire pit area and we were trying to decide about using actual bluestone rock or making our own like this. But the issue I keep having is the filler material in between either rocks or concrete stones. Our backyard has a lot of trees so the whole thing would be covered in leaves so I wouldn’t be able to use a blower on pea gravel. I’m not sure if we can put concrete in between the bigger rocks. I mean I don’t know how that would work if we did concrete rocks and concrete filler. Am I making any sense🤦🏼♀️. I did buy the Quikrete cement pigment so maybe if I diy’d the stones and colored them I could possibly get away with concrete “filler”. I’m not a professional either! Just a middle aged woman trying to save money. If you have any advice on what you think about the concrete filler please let me know. I cannot believe that fountain you built! It’s beautiful! If there’s any more info you can share with me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
I’m glad you posted a follow up. I really want to do the flagstone pavers. Use the pea gravel/mulch glue for the pebbles. It works pretty well. You can touch it up periodically every year or so.
At 25 percent speed, it is a great recap that still moves along pretty quick. Blink and you miss a lot at regular speed, for sure. There is so much crammed in here, but it is a really, really good study to get ideas for my own back yard. More or less, this is how I'm envisioning my structure build. Thanks for taking time to record this process.
Thanks! Your right I think it might be better suited to a multiple video edit. I honestly thought people would be too bored to watch all of the little things.
I have watched your entire build, and really enjoyed it! Would encourage you to do an update please! I am about to start my own overlander build soon. Awesome job!
@@Jcamo28 God bless you and your family for your service. Thank you! There are millions of us out here who are behind our military! I am designing a hybrid build trailer with mostly recycled materials, so videos like your are important! Thank you again for replying!
I pmfed mine as well and am extremely happy with it. Had it sit out all winter with no water damage whAtsoever. I did titebond, canvas, titebond then numerous coats of oops paint coats then finished it with rough textured deck paint that looks just like raptor liner but even stronger imo.
