My oldest is 13 and it fits her perfect. She's right at 5' tall. My youngest is 8 and 4'4". She's just able to comfortably reach the pedals with the seat adjusted all the way forward. I'm 5'10" and can drive / ride with them just a bit cramped but it is do able. Hope this helps!

The problem is u should be putting half the load of the cca ratings on the battery. And that tester might pull only 120 amps.
@reallifetested2605
@reallifetested2605 День назад
That’s definitely the correct way to test a battery. But for the money, I think it’s a fine deal. It also gives you at least a general idea of your battery condition. Think, if your battery fails with 100 amp load it’s definitely going to with half cca load. Thank you for the good information.

Thank you for the kind words. We were willing to help local businesses until quotes started coming in. They ranged from 14k to 20k so I started calculating what I could do it myself for. I ended up spending 3800 for the concrete and over 100 ton of gravel. I can’t justify paying a company 10 to 16 thousand dollars for a days work for them. I guess they’re getting it somewhere though.

You're smart! A dollar saved is a dollar earned. Think of how much materials you can get for $10K. I go by the same saying: I don't make that much in an hour so I'll do it myself. Learn to do plumbing and electrical as well. Plumber's &. Electricians are in a league of their own.

I agree with that. We were willing to support local businesses but when quotes came in from 14k to around 20k I looked into materials and did it myself for 3800 with over 100 ton of gravel and 830 bags of concrete. I couldn’t justify paying a company over 10,000 in labor. Someone is making a killing and I’m sure they’re not paying the laborers that much.

Great video. I am in the process of running wire in my 30x30 metal shop. I've been back to Lowes 3 different times taking gang boxes back because they wont work on the metal beams. what kind of silicone did you use around the base.
@AB_thingsDFW
@AB_thingsDFW 11 дней назад
I also have a 30x30. What size of wire you're going to be using for service? Of course it'll depend on what you're going to power inside. Just curious.
@reallifetested2605
@reallifetested2605 10 дней назад
I used the ge all purpose silicone from Lowe’s. So far it’s holding up great. My local Lowe’s didn’t ever have enough boxes with the tabs like I use so I had to order online and do a store pickup. They carry them in their stock just never actually had them for some reason.
@reallifetested2605
@reallifetested2605 10 дней назад
There are calculators online. It really depends on how far you’re running it and the amount of current you’re pulling. Also if you’re using aluminum or copper. I found a website called Nassau national cable and at the time they were almost 1/2 price of what Lowe’s and Home Depot had.

Yes, the bearing crapped out on me it’s totally seized. My fault though, I left it in the position that you have it in before winter came and I forgot to put a tarp on it. Water got in, went to use it the next spring and first mix it died. Had it for several years, a couple of loose bolts, it’s noisy as #*$& but can’t complain for the price, it’s not harbour freight but an identical model sold in canada, 219$ plus tx

I heard that, it’s bigger than my house. Haha yes it can definitely be done, I’d check local prices because some guys on here said concrete was 120 per yard in there area. Around here it’s 200-220 with a 4-6 week wait. Contractors have lost their minds as well wanting between 14k-20k to do what I did for 3800 with bags and 100 ton of rock.

I saved even more than that which is insane. The lowest quote we received was 14000, up to around 20000. I have 3800 in a little over 100 ton of rock and the concrete. So the minimum I made was 166 dollars an hour and I can tell you if i made that much money throughout my life I sure wouldn’t be working anymore haha

@Gearhart. 20 дней назад
It turned out nice. It's a lot of work but look at it this way. What's your time worth? If you think about it you just saved yourself a whole bunch of money. Now if you were the contractor doing that job you just made yourself a whole bunch of money. So it's a win-win for you. A little elbow grease goes a long way... "Elbow grease" that sounds kind of gross. Jk

I am not buy that you saved 10000, let's do the math ,27 bags per yard 5.00 a bag that's 135.00 a yard plus tax concrete is between 125.00 to 150.00 a yard delivered NO WORK INVOLVED, so explain how you saved 10000.00 ,the cost of Sack crete and ready mix is the same just 0 work I involved in red mix for you a HUGE HUGE amount in sack crete for you

How did you save $10000????? I just calculated using the Home Depot concrete calculator for a 38’x30’ slab 4” thick , using 80 lbs bags comes to 634 bags @$ 3.98/bag = $2523.32. The same cubic yards at $204/yard from a local ready mix comes to $ 2,870.28 and you don’t have to do all the labor for mixing and hauling it every little load in place. Did you buy the concrete bags at minus $10/bag? Did they give you the concrete bags and pay you too? And the only thing you have to do hire a team of 3 of them Mexicans for the 3 hours that take to pour and finish it, give them $30/ hour each and “loncha” with plenty of Coca Cola and it comes to $270 plus loncha and save my time and back. That’s why God invented them Mexicans. You can find them on the big developers job sites, just talk to them and tell them that you gonna have more future work. It works every time.
