Thank you Sophia I like very much the video because I will go for the 1 th time to Montepulciano y Pienza, Siena, San Giamagno y Lucca. How many hours need to visit Montepulciano please. I will go in Marz. Have a nice day
My City. Born and raised, until the age of twenty, in Lucca fora. Went to school in the back of San Frediano church and in Via Fillungo.. My mother bought a gold chain at Gioielleria Carli for my First Communion. Now in California for well over 50 years, but Lucca will always be in my heart.
Coming to Florence for the 3rd time and thanks for turning me on to new, less touristy places. What is the name of the bar/restaurant with the view of the Pontevecchio where you are having drinks?
Nice Tivoli ideas. We are going to Villa de Este for sure in May. Wondering if you think the waterfalls at Grgoriana are worth the trek down and how long did you spend. Taking a train from Rome, so wondering how kuch time to give. Cheers and thanks for any insight,.
I love your Florence/Italy videos, my favorite country! I was just there again last autumn (I went to Rome, Florence, Fiesole, Bologna, Ravenna, and Milan) and it was magical. In the near future, planning a trip to Torino, Genova, Florence, Perugia, Sicily, Napoli and Roma (and possibly Sulmona/Raiano in Abruzzo). Thanks for sharing your videos and please upload more Florence/Italy videos-keep us up to date. Greetings from New Jersey. -JPF
Hii I’m Kalpesh just saw your Lucca vedio it’s nice.👍🏼 I’m travelling to Italy but littel short of time so I’m skipping Lucca and planned to visit cinque terre. If you have visited cinque terre do share that vedio or suggest is it worth to visit . Thanks 😊
Wonderful video about Lucca and I'm so impressed you travel alone! I'm hoping to do this in the fall to look for a farmhouse to buy in the Lucca area. Planning to stay at Ville Agnese and go on a Centro Storico tour just like you did!! If you have any tips for traveling alone please let me know them. Grazie mille, Sophia
I am truly enjoying this video and your explanations as you walk through this beautiful city. The music soundtrack is very distracting to me. Imagine if you were to just change the music soundtrack to a simple mandolin melody playing beautiful Italian songs. I would watch it continually from end to end. But for now I can just listen and watch in bits because the music sounds, too electronic, too much Synthetic and not at all appealing to me. But that’s just me. I’m full-blooded Italian 70 year old man who loves tradition. If you would like some beautiful Italian background music, let me know I will be happy to send you some. Respectfully, Salvatore.
Sophia, do you live in the city itself or outside the city? If you live outside the city, are there any restrictions to drive your vehicle into the city or certain areas of the city? Thank you.
Some beautiful footage. I enjoyed watching in anticipation of my next trip to Florence for a month next spring. Two caveats; 1) Happy for you that you enjoyed staying practically on top of the Duomo and Basilica. Not my cup of tea. I prefer an apartment a little off the touristy path. Quieter, and, better bakeries and restaurants, and prices. 2) The grammarian in me had an involuntary jerky shiver when you said "Me and my roommates". It is "My roommates and I". As intelligent as you seem, l think you can remember the trick of taking out the "and my roomates" and say the sentence then. You wouldn't say, "Me wanted.". Rather, "I wanted." Please accept my apologies for my picky old lady whining😂😊
so enchanting that Italy 🇮🇹🍝,🇻🇦🇸🇲❤️ is, I never tire of seeing the beauty of this beautiful territory as is our entire continent of Europe ,🇺🇦🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷🇸🇷🇴🇵🇹🇲🇹🇨🇭🇱🇮🇧🇬🇧🇪🇦🇹🇫🇷❤️🇪🇺
I’ve been wanting to visit Florence for a while and I’m deciding to just move there instead. Some ppl are against it and idk why. I moved to Dallas Texas knowing no one and been here for 2 years life been okay but can be better. The way I see it nothing is keeping me here except some guy but I’m noticing I’m only staying to be heartbroken and disappointed. This video has given me insight on taking that chance. Who knows I may just find my soulmate out there 🤞🏼 and I’ll feel like I don’t have to chase after something
