Hey there! Yes, I remember you! Thanks! I have to say, it's not easy to convert your student to a regular one. I had to extend my studies for another year. It's hard to convert, takes so much time and patience, but it's not impossible. There is this thing called "Decreto Flussi" which enables you to convert your student to a regular permesso, but it's limited and you need to be fast to avail this. I tried to do things my way, but it was mentally and physically draining which led my so consulting with a lawyer to see my options. I do believe that this is the best way to see your what your options are because it really depends from case to case and it makes your life easier! I suggest you start your research or talk to people once you get here, don't wait for your permit to stay to expire because you will need all the time that you have. I hope this helps. :)
