On your point about getting it all out, trying everything that comes to mind...I recently shot a lot on my travels and decided to have a structured editing approach which I religiously try stick to. For instance, I will make sure the only thing I do first, is to scrub through my footage for each video edit and seperate the useable from the unusable. On trying this for the first time, I still resorted to trying and experimenting with what comes to mind on that moment. Do you have a similar process and or/ do you find yourself going with the flow and trying out what intuitively comes to mind?
@@Zain_A_S It always depends on the project for me, but I do something somewhat similar in my editing. However, there are times where I thought footage was completely unusable, and then later on it ended up fitting in a context I hadn’t imagined. So be careful not to limit yourself in the wrong way. It’s a balancing act for sure, and testing your own intuition is a big part of learning
once the final result came up on the screen, my mouth was open , the ears were creaming, and my eyes witnessed their first virgin taking artwork . . . ( i spent 10 minutes writing this comment cuz my brain had an emergency overdrive shutdown )

Is this possible on Davinci Resolve? If so, can u give a tutorial please or give me a link of a tutorial similar to this.. I don't have AE anymore and was looking for ways to do this on davinci too
The amount of work that went into this video is insane. At the same time, everything is so seamless you don't even feel it. I suppose that's the whole point of the message you're conveying here. Thank you for sharing your talent and thoughts with the world, it's needed and the work you're doing matters a lot to a lot of people. I once heard someone say "Less is only more if you know what more is." I think about that a lot. And while it might sound contradictory to your message, I don't think that it is. What I hear you saying in this video is that we need to be constantly exploring our process and digging into our creative decision making in order to handle constraints with a larger toolbox. The 'more' is the skills and influences we collect, and the 'less' comes from our ability to choose well.
