Hope you all enjoy! There’s a link to an unlisted video in the description showing what’s inside the entire pack if you want to see more details. And, the free version has the first font plus the images used in the tutorial so you can follow along. Finally, the expressions I used in the video for the Transform Effect (starting at 20:32) are here for you to copy paste: --- POSITION --- w = thisLayer.width/2; h = thisLayer.height/2; posterizeTime(4); [w,h] + wiggle(200,20) - value; --- ANCHOR POINT --- w = thisLayer.width/2; h = thisLayer.height/2; [w,h] --- ROTATION --- posterizeTime(4); wiggle(200,2)
Bro... I did not know that I could make effects presets before this video! I use wiggle expressions on a lot of my edits, this will make my life so much easier! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Keep it up with these fantastic videos, love them, I always learn something new from them! ❤❤
this was literally the most retarded time consuming way to do this effect, very simple to overlay your image on a premade crumple and takes half a second rather than hours of cutting out shapes in real life. That's what the original edit is doing, no one is cutting out paper for a 10 second short and the tutorial is very misleading to where it does more harm than good
This is the most INSANE tutorial EVER. It covers every detail and any question and problem you could possibly encounter. This is so well explained, super clear and USEFUL!!! You never learn this level in college, this is GOLD!!!! Thank you so much!!!
I have been editing for around 10 months now and there are so many little tricks that I didn't know, one of the best was that by holding alt or shift, picking a asset and then dragging over existing layer, it just replicates. I love how much effort you put in and I also bough the pack.
Thank you for the comment and purchase! Yeah I still discover new shortcuts and tricks even today after many years of editing. The Alt replace trick changed my life lol, I use it so much
Wow this is AMAZING! I’m bluffed by the level of details you provide, and the care you take for the viewers, to make sure we are able to replicate what you do. That makes it actually a real practical hands on lesson. This gives me a ton of creative ideas. Thanks A LOT !
Damn this is pure Gold. First shout out to your computer its handling the workloads like butter. Second thankyou I have watched some of your tutorials and it has taught me so much. Keep going Man
If you have an object travelling more complex path you could select the object, right click, choose transform, auto-orient, ortient along path. This way you'll have to twick rotation only once, at the very beggining, the rest AE will adjust automatically.
This is a great trick! When I was animating the title before recording I used that, but found a glitch in AE where posterizeTime() on Position doesn’t work with Auto Orient on. Otherwise that would have been my go-to :) Nicely pointed out!
@@Skymography I suggest you to apply the effect Posterize Time instead of writting a command inside the position parameter. It solves this particular issue and also some others I can't remember right now
