The Ethereum Engineering Group meet-up is a meet-up brought to you by Peter Robinson, Sandra Johnson, Joanne Fuller, with help from many people. The meet-up is for software engineers, computer scientists, researchers, and technologists who want to understand the Ethereum platform and associated technologies. The meet-up runs each fortnight on Wednesdays. Since March 2020, the meet-up has been run via Zoom, online. The timing during the day of the meet-up depends on who is talking and what part of the world they live in.
See the meet-up page for the latest invitation link to the meet-up's Slack workspace.
We thank ConsenSys for paying for the meetup.com fees.
Thank you for this good video and for your advice sir. Wathever if by error we sent IMX from L1 Euthereum, can we recuperate the founds by fews means please ? Do you know it please ?
In the coming months, Passport will support Ethereum L1. Until that point, unfortunately, your funds will be locked. When Passport supports L1, you will have full control of your money.
Hi I would like to know 2 thing in here 1 Can i transfer the coin to exchange platform wallet like Houbi, OKX etc? 2nd, How long it took to received the token/coin Thanks alot
Currently there are no centralised exchanges on Immutable zkEVM. That will change in the coming months. The transfer transactions typically are included in the next block. As such, should take about two seconds to complete.
@@EthereumEngineeringGroup I have transfer some IMX coin to HTX exchange but still not received, I have the transection link. is there any way to check it out the status?
The question comes down to have you see the derivation pipeline working, and what is the source of truth for the chain / rollup. Also to be considered is how you see forced inclusions working.
Thank you so much ; so valuable information . As accountant and cryptocurrency enthusiast I would like to specialize in blockchain related . Do you suggest any course ?
what happens to storage data that is persistent and then a revert happens, does it stay there? what about subsequent runs of the contract, does storage stay there for every run of the contract and does it use up the storage.
I have a million questions that are simple questions but are not addressed in the documentation and I am trying to piece together the functionality of progrmming in solidity. Sorry to be a downer thanks for all you help and comprising this too low drill down about stack storage and memory and call data
thanks for the detailed explanation !! =] really want to learn more from you ! may I ask a question ? @42:48, why does it have to revert if "CALLDATASIZE - 4" is less than 32 bytes ?
Thoughts on having the best of both worlds by using a proof assistant/language like LEAN to have both an implementation and the formal mathematics and proofs from the yellow paper all in one?
If, context is a problem is it possible that we can make graphical representation of the solidity program (kind of what vscode-solidity-mterics does - solidity code graph) and then use RAG to talk to LLM ?
