Nintendo thinks they own the "rights" to SIMILAR style of Pals v. Pokemon. Disgusting thuggery bully tactics. I don't see what they've done as "shady" or "not right." Just because someone makes similar style to something that doesn't mean it's "copying." That's like saying KFC has chicken sandwiches, but every other restaurant who sells chicken sandwiches are "copying their idea." Nonsense...

Thanks! Also a tip for new players (like me) i just started using the wrench to get parts from stuff (cars etc) and it makes it way easier to get what you need for special projects like this since trying to find mechanical parts laying around is impossible.
I love the colour palette of Astraeos. The white sand beaches and worn greyish rocks look much nicer (to me) than the tan and orange soil found everywhere on the Island and The Center. The cliffs have a nice smooth worn down appearance that is more like something I'd see outside (at least in Canada) and not those weird orange clumpy, cottage cheese looking cliffs and mountains on all the official ASA maps (minus Aberration).

Snail killed my Ark community, no matter how many maps they come out with the lost around 30 customers alone with me and my pals, never mind there shoddy admin team banning people for raiding them on there official servers. As for palworld could it not be considered something like fair usage as if i make a model look like a yellow mouse that's distinctive enough from whatever there Pokémon equivalent would be as long as its not a direct copy i don't think they should have a case. No expert ofc, but i think its just closing down creative and artistic views because it closely resembles something that they might have made way back when. And as you mentioned its not really there leading product when you consider Zelda or Mario for example... but even then child elves? (i think that is what zelda is) or a short Italian surely can't be protected under any circumstances.
It's more mechanics, like mordor shadow of war and nemesis system, there is speculation Nintendo patented throwing monsters from a ball in 2021, other games have used this but tehy didn't directly copy art etc from Nintendo games so they left them alone, Nintendo can't really win in court over copyright but are petulant enough to try on patents rights
@@Jade-PG "throwing monsters from a ball" not meaning to take your words as direct as i am sure there is way more too it. But its very vague and seems like its another case of David vs Goliath in the sense that Nintendo is a vastly larger company and abusing the fact and there resources to bully or silence smaller parties. I understand the similarity's but still to me it is absolutely absurd that they would be allowed to pursue this considering the implications that this could lead too. What happened to games been about enjoyment and providing a safe space for people to relax in. The privatisation of public spaces seems to need a readjustment as its focus has shifted from the well been and protection of players to milking there customers for the greed of investors. Yes they do need to make a profit off there work. But once that has been achieved it should be in my eyes placed within the public domain space where the public should be able to choose what is right and wrong. Not the gaming aristocrats that have probably never seen the game unless it was at a board meeting.

My honest take, im rooting for pocketpair just because im so tired of nintendo doing this crap. Any little thing thats ever made similar to pokemon outside of nintendo gets copyrighted and or cease and desisted. And this goes way back to many, and I stress this a ton, FAN made games or projects. I feel palworld getting the success it did is essentially retribution for all those who got taken down
There haven't actually been many cases like this, myth of empires lost their court case recently for stealing ark code, much more serious, they ended up having to be published by the company they stole from, palworld will likely if found to have broken patent, have to pay Nintendo alot of money and future money u less they agree settlement with Nintendo, of they win and can prove they haven't stole patent then Nintendo would pay them damages
Hmm kinda, it doesn't have to be direct stealing of code or copying it can be end product, ie something like creatures in pods, which isn't pokimon only as gatcgas have been around longer then pokimon but In games? Who knows
As shown they have sold 25 million copies on top of xbox game pass deal, they are swimming in money even if they end up giving half to Nintendo they still be rich
@@darkoni95, you cannot "own" a style of character. That's nonsense. Just because characters look similar and are NOT the same exact... doesn't make them the same...
the augment balance has been thrown out the window... a shelf costs a few scraps and gives the same bonus as ashield... axes no longer have their enhancement.. ridiculous
Quest says to solve 3 agility puzzles to get into observatories, and I haven't seen you do a single one. I'm stuck in the one close to the map boundary, lost a lot of time with it 😠 The game is a mess, a failed attempt to achieve atmosphere like in Dishonored.
not sure what your doing wrong but you are? there is just teh main observatory you have to complete to progress thats it? its got different floors with puzzles
They made the game into menu simulator. I've never played a game where I needed to look at the menu for so long. The issue wasn't the crafting part. That was the only good part of the game. It's the questing part.
na hard dissagree, before thsi update yes 70% of your time was checking menus now its much reduced, teh quest stuff is easy enough to follow but does need addition of a full on location marker for some stuff, teh carfting is much better now without having to check and run to 20 different traders to unlock recipies
I've been trying to drag those recipe items into the brain mini game for 10 minutes now and it will not do anything please help it is actually driving me nuts because I played the demo and never had an issue with it, but now the actual game is like no you're stuck at level 1
Before the update, applying a charm would add 2 to the gear score. When crafting tools, use the highest tier stuff you can. The only stat you actually need on tools is +Melee Damage and maybe +Ranged Damage for the sickle. Adding Durability is good too, but with repairs being so cheap, you don't really need it. Crafting weapons and armor is where things get complicated and resource juggling for the best components is a bit tricky at times.
@@Dumascain There are two newies. One - Immolate - you get right at the beginning. Normal cast is a quick fire bolt. Fully charged is same damage amount but a massive area of effect. It's a game changer. I can solo the end-game bosses now just with magic. I've not played around much with the other one - Fionn's Wrath - but I know it's a single target damage + stun and or knockdown.
I finished the tutorial realm and walked through my first portal. The game is fun so far, but what i don't understand: is there no option to transfer my whole camp from the first realm to the second and again transfer the same camp over a realm map? Like at once human "relocate territory". At least my inventory boxes would be nice to transfer. Does anyone have a plan how to manage inventory with the last update? Kind regards, ❤

4th world as in planet, or 4th world as in portal travels? because my fourth if by portals was "shrieking sands" which is just a dessert with ruined stone towers. or does each class have differences in their portal lines?
@@Chiikusho You can craft the glamour bench to adjust the appearance of gear to any piece of clothing you have unlocked, but you can't change the colors of it yet. That's coming later
As someone said a dye system is coming but you can exercise some degree of control over the appearance of your gear by using the right materials. Then use the transmog (glamour) system to move your good stats onto the betteer looking gear. Google - nightingale clothing color guide - and look at the first result which is a Steam guide.
The stats on most of the very rare resources have been nerfed so badly that they are worse than the base resources of their level. Might be an idea for a guide vid on where to find the rares and which are still worth using.
I wouldn't say that. Like the sun giant ingots used to be 25 mag and gold used to be 20, so sun giant was slightly better. Now they're both 10 mag, but sun giant has some stamina and fire resistance. I've been out in the realms too and the uber T5 mats are still superior but maybe a bit easier to find than they used to be. Or maybe I was freakishly lucky before to find 2 star ruby and 2 britomart nodes on a single ascended desert map.
i love nightingale i truly feel it has potetial....but is it really realms rebuilt? all they did is use the watch fights and put them into story mode....on top of that vendors feel pointless and doin the might and intellect ect feel repetitive. I feel like it needs to release a captive npc maybe some of them give you a rare item or a side quest where you get a item in general you cannot craft. They could make it so the recruitable npcs maybe have spells that are attuned to the realm. I do love nightingale but it needs some depth added to the side quest stuff to flesh it out and not feel so grindy....alot of games nowadays have trouble making the filler content feel like its worth doing rather than feel repetitive and grindy...as well the building is cool i love the asthetics but it needs something..idk i know they talked about npcs raiding your base that to me should be optional like you play a card to allow npc raids but idk needs something to make base building feel part of the game rather then just getting the next bench or refinment piece. Love your content jade keep up the good work!! I look forward to seeing where this game goes.
An update for anyone coming 9-17-2024 - The ancient armor is now in the spaceship in a cave on the island, you need to soak it in solfate bath and make it gold, there is now a boss fight at the end and you have the option to save before leaving.
