Has anyone else been caught in a cycle of "Refurbished" phone issues like me? I encountered problems with my first Pixel 7 Pro within four weeks of purchase, which cost me about $850 two years ago. The initial issue was unique compared to the subsequent six phones. My first phone had a glitch where the screen would turn black whenever my finger neared the top of the screen, only returning to normal when I moved my finger away. Verizon replaced it with what was supposed to be a new phone but was actually "refurbished." Essentially, I was misled from the start, having paid $825 for a "refurbished" phone instead of a new one. I'm now on my sixth "Refurbished" phone, five from Verizon, who eventually blacklisted me, prompting me to seek help from Google. The "Refurbished" Pixel 7 Pro from Google has the exact same issue as the others. The first refurbished phone lasted nearly a year before the screen began flickering, then showed greenish streaks, and finally turned to a flickering white. The third "Refurbished" phone I was forced to take it to a repair place and the screen replaced. That repair lasted about a week before the screen started doing the same thing again. After that they then sent me another "Refurbished" phone. Each replacement has developed the same issue more rapidly than its predecessor, suggesting a widespread problem that refurbishment centers are not addressing. It seems the hardware causing the screen issue is not being replaced, leading to a recurring cycle of failure. As a long-time loyal Google customer, starting from the first-generation Pixel to the 3, then the 4a, and now the 7 Pro I have been happy with the phones and Googles services. I am currently seeking a definitive resolution from Google for this ongoing issue but alas it appears they are going to try and force me onto the "Refurbished" phone Merry Go Round just like Verizon did. I am thinking about just completely bailing on Google and all their services I use as well as bailing on Verizon, I have been with Verizon for 28 years with multiple lines and going with Mint and their over 55 plans for seniors where I can get a brand-new Top of the Line Samsung for free at sign up.

I have the exact same car and same year. I use it as a commuter to work, 120 miles round trip daily. It runs great, i never had any problems with it except for the diesel particulate filter is going bad said the service advisor at my last oil change visit. It has over 206,000 miles on it and still runs and feels solid. I'm very happy with the car.
I’m having a very hard time trying to migrate everything to my new Mac. The new Mac keeps disconnecting from the old Mac. I even had them tethered with a thunderbolt cable and it still disconnected. Beside Current Connection it said Thunderbolt, then 5 minutes later it suddenly switched to Wi-Fi, then 5 minutes later it said Connection Lost. Any idea what the problem could be?

My mom has a Samsung Galaxy S9 plus my mom had a note 9 but my dad broke. And so my mom had to go get a new one so she was at the Verizon store and to try to unlock her phone to cricket and she unlocked it
The top of my LG screen turns green & while I am using it, as if another app wants to take over. It doesn't last long either when it happens I check through everything & it appears to be ok. Any suggestions?
I have an unlocked Verizon phone I use on Straight Talk (Verizon line). I signed up for Qlink (please spare me the bad time) and I asked BOTH Qlink and ST if I activated QL SIM card but decided to stay with ST would the ST SIM card still work. BOTH companies said yes. Well my dumbass didn't know (nor was I told) it would change my Verizon Android settings to T-mobile Android settings along with the start up screen and jingle. So I inserted the old ST SIM back into my phone. It prompted a restart but still booted up as T-Mobile. It takes almost 2 minutes for my service to kick in. I have ST hotspot and am now constantly being disconnected or lagging. My phone officially says it's not roaming but the signal bars have a triangular roaming signal plus where it use to say Verizon it now says "preferred system". I factory reset my phone thinking it might do the trick but apparently not. I have talked to both Qlink and Straight Talk. Q link Told me I have to get ahold of Straight Talk and they have to switch my settings... So I contacted Straight Talk and I'm not even sure any of these people on either side understood what I explained to them but Straight Talk basically told me I need to buy another bring your own phone Verizon kit so it will activate my phone...even though they say it's already activated. I've done some research online and from what I found Samsung puts all of the big Carrier software on the phone and whatever SIM you're using basically sets the phone up for that Carrier. But it did not do this when I put my old Straight Talk SIM card back in. Is am I out of luck or is there any way to fix this? I'm hoping that I think that a new SIM card from Straight Talk will fix it but I'm assuming it won't because it will probably just be the same type of SIM card. I cannot afford to go buy a whole another phone right now and I really don't want to be on a Straight Talk T-Mobile line because I'm not sure it will do as good as the Verizon line I had.
I have 2013 CMAX Energi and I learned early on the techniques described. Since the car has been charged with the original L1 charger most of the time, and a L2 charger less, I suspect the battery has lost less capacity than if I always used L2. However, now (May 2021) that we have batteries with a higher energy density/lower cost, does anyone know of a reputable outfit that sells battery upgrades?
I have had two brand new LG Wings.. Both screens went green and then completely black within 2 and a half weeks of unboxing them. Do not by the LG Wing because once the warranty is up after one year, you're stuck with this defective phone
I haven't switched to T-Mobile yet, just considering if I can use my Galaxy S8. Currently with the Verizon SIM card the "Add" option in Access Point Names is greyed out. Does that become active after switching SIM cards?
