Welcome to the Kitchen on The Farm on Route 66 where I share with you Quick and Tasty recipes that some of my best friends have shared with me. The best recipes are always those that have already been proved by those you love. My rules - it has to be quick (because i want to spend time on the farm not just in the kitchen) and it has to be tasty (so your family will love what you serve them) Welcome to my channel and enjoy!
I have been married over 50 years & l hate to cook! Mainly because l never was taught how to make good meals. I'm not a newlywed by any means, but I would enjoy learning how to be a better cook!
I think you should not only teach them how to cook, but how to meal plan and grocery shop. I think it would be helpful to go thru cutting down recipes, or how to freeze half a recipe for future use.
Home economics is still taught in most schools. It's càlled culinary class here. Grandkids have taken it. They come here to visit and make what they've learned. We love it. Yes à cooking class is a great idea!! Love your farm and your family!!
I have a couple suggestions..first, i just found this channel, and i appreciate your wanting to help young cooks. Unto the suggestions. 1. Measure out all your ingredients before you start mixing. When i 1st started cooking and cir a whike after i would forget to add ingredients [like eggs ;0)]. You have to measure them out anyway, just do it before you get started. 2. Clean up as you go. When I started cooking, i quickly got overwhelmed because of all the stuff laying about and the pile of dirty dishes. When i thought to clean as i went, the stress literally disappeared. My 2 cents to add.
Four sticks of butter is a heart attack in the making. Fruit pizzas can be a healthy snack, but not with four sticks of butter. Would never make this. Too unhealthy.
Awesome as usual. Congratulations Kaci on your teams win!! I think some littles are very blessed to have you for an "auntie"!!! Kudos Palmers!! God Bless
I think a cooking course is a wonderful idea! Maybe do one on grocery budgets and how to shop and save by eating at home I'm 61 my husband and I are empty nesters and I find I struggle to cook just for the two of us
How timely. I made a sugar cookie base yesterday so I can make a fruit pizza for the kids and grandkids to have today after church. (Pasta, cheesy bread and salad also). I bet your recipe is delicious! I love shortbread. I need to write this one down as a keeper.
I think your idea is wonderful. I think young couples not only need to cook a meal but how to buy groceries. A recipe isn’t any good if you don’t have the correct ingredients 😊
Hi Vicki, I'm trying this pizza tomorrow! Anything "pizza" has to be incredible!! Looks, simple and tasty, and I can't wait! 😊 great idea mowing a path for the grand babies, so darn cute! Love your channel and keep the recipes coming! God bless...❤
A name for your course could be "Cooking Tips for Wedded Bliss"....one title could be "What NOT to do!" And fill it with all kinds of mistakes not to make...and maybe some tips on how to fix mistakes once they are made....
I say for the cooking course teach how to make some really good breakfast. Breakfast can be eaten anytime of day and it's delicious. The pizza looks amazing. Yummy 😋
