both of these series were amazing. i think the azure story was a bit better but i think the game was brought down abit by the locations being alot more repetitive/ smaller in scale. sky third chapter was the same, being stuck in the void wasn't appealing as opposed to the vast county of liberl.
30:00 Finally, Falcom makes a ridiculous crowd size without rampantly repeating models everywhere. I feel bad for the Switch during this scene, though. "Who does Raymond have feelings for, Carol?" I know this is Falcom, but no he doesn't have a crush on his sister lol. Whoever it was isn't relevant, it was just that Jess and Raymond both confided in each other about having unrequited feelings for someone before moving to Edith. The brochures were on sale in the Blacklight District. The shortcomings of not doing a full npc & shop crawl! One of my favorite subtle things is that Risette is a pretty typical JRPG name, but it sounds like Reset. Clever, Falcom, clever. You always start off with Shizuna in the Pandemonium part. It doesn't have anything to do with Ch 5. They just wanted you to have the powerful moveset when your party size was smallest. I love how the entire plot of Daybreak is a direct result of the events in Gambler Jack 1. My man didn't even remember who Cross was, holy crap.
4:40:58 Renne: "Thank you very much I'm very happy I hope you enjoyed yourself please come again." What a dark and cruel line. I can't believe they brought that back.
SPOILER READ AT YOUR OWN RISK . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .They bring back that because...JK no spoiler, wanna know more? play Trails to find out
Interesting... I'm watching your gameplay now because of the thumbnail and I noticed the PS version doesn't show the numbers of who's next in line to attack while on PC it shows. I wonder which version is broken xD
the numbers, was a feature PH3 added (like many others in other games). So the original version or any other PC ports, never have this feature. PH3 PC ports, generally have way more settings and functionality than all the other versions of the game, and are usually better optimized. Stuff like showing the current track played etc is also not in the PS version.
@@TheTheoLogan898 For us Playstation players we have to hold L2 to see the turn order in combat but PH3 made it so Steam players will see the turn order all the time without holding down a button. It will be better again in Daybreak 2 tho.
To be fair... I think you just are not that good in these games. (mechanicaly speaking) if playing on normal is a bit hard for you, but thats is nothing wrong per se. I mean... There is say among the fans. If you played Sky on NORMAL, then the rest you should play on at least hard (and people advice nightmare) to get the same amount of difficulty. To be completely fair, there are spikes but you can always mitigate them by being properly prepared. There is no other way than being... Prepared, its kind of big flaw but it gives you way more flexibility than lvling up indefinetly. Playing Cold Steel on Easy is just... Game is really quite easy to begin with. Playing on hard gives you a tiny bit of challenge and i myself have been thinking if i did a mistake of playing on hard where i should clearly play nightmare.
32:43 If I had a nickel for every time the older character in a Trails game had a jukebox that played a remix of an Ys 1 song, I'd only have two nickels. But it's strange that it happened twice. I can't believe you depicted me as the Kool-aid man instead of Dogi the Wallcrusher. What the heck??? The request where all the NPCs thank Van is possibly my favorite moment in the game.
Oh nice! I just played this section yesterday. I’m in the home stretch now. I’ve got the same uneasy feeling that the ending isn’t gonna be a happy one.
The series is so good at world building that I was hyped for a Trade Conference to start, and it remains one of my most memorable parts of the whole series seeing all the world leaders arrive in the city.
The multiverse was introduced in the first Crossbell game. Remember that the SSS gang died, and it was Kea who brought them back. That was a very big hint that the main plot of the saga would involve some kind of multiverse shenanigans.
Currently in daybreak playthrough, and just find your channel and now surfing the whole trails gameplay. Besided neomatterx your reactions are fun to watch too.🎉
49:00 Yeah the voice acting choices in certain scenes is starting to get to me. I'm fine with scenes without VA, but if you're going to have 1 or 2 characters voiced in a scene, voice all of them.
One thing to note about that Elaine and Father Scene, if you don't do all the side stuff to get all the hints about what she's doing then you arrive too late and her Father actually gets injured critically by Melchior.
Here's the solution to that puzzle: you quite literally take the first number of each and plug it in, taking into account which of the 4 positions. Tram 3451 - 3xxx, 184 arge - x1xx, 92 years - xx9x 8 films - xxx8 = 3198. Also it can't be 3451, because that is just the Tram's number and doesn't take into account any of the hints.
I watched a demonic movie last nite n it botherd me myfire felt like it was fading n i feel like its flamed up. I wished i wouldnt of watched it but at same tim woke me up! Evil real n god is onthe the thrown ther real w9ckedness out ther
I’m still avoiding your videos because I got a late start to the game, but I’m catching up slowly but surely. Only halfway through chapter 2 but loving the main cast so far.
I just finished the game last week. Ended up becoming my new favorite of the series. Really like Van and the other new characters. Looking forward to seeing how you like the finale!
I did wonder what would happen if the wrong answer was typed in for that quest, I should have known you'd deliver 🤣 It was 3198 btw. I've actually just finished the game today, I think you'll really enjoy the rest of it. Starting on Visions of Mana next yay!
