You went out of frame so it was difficult to see what you meant but I got it finally. Thank you for the wonderful pattern for this. It is gorgeous. I meant you only went out of frame for about 30 seconds. I'm such a whiner. Im sorry
Not stupid at all❣ the elastic loops from the hair tie go around the collar. I put the loops on either side of the tags of my dog’s collar so that the weight of the tags keep the bow in front if his neck.
I'm so glad I found this video. I acquired this very same machine at an estate sale a couple years ago. I love it! Your guidance will help me love it more. I just paid $49 on a repair. One of the tension knobs was very loose and wobbly.
Check to be sure that the flat side of your needle is to the back, and that the screw is securely tightened. Does it make any stitches at all, or does it break the first time it goes down? I use “universal” needles in my sergers, but you can buy serger needles (Schmetz brand is available on Amazon). Check your owner’s manual for needle suggestions.
Thanks so much for doing the tutorial and giving me the pattern. It was so easy to make, I did the small one for a birthday gift I will make more for a residential home and prizes for my quilt guild. THANKS A LOT
Thank you very much for doing this tutorial! I am going to make my Mom several pairs of these gloves, as she has Giant Cell Arteritis which decreases the blood flow in her arms and hands, causing horrific hand spasms and cramps that last for hours. Keeping her hands and lower arms warm, truly helps control the amount of hand cramping she gets each day. I appreciate the ease of your pattern and construction! God Bless ~~Christy~~
Fleece fabric curls to the wrong side...gotta remember that! I have 2 young grandchildren & 4 adult sized to make these for! O, plus myself & daughter. Have you or would you make one for an infant? Thinking it would work very well when baby is in the car seat.
I have not made one for an infant. I am not sure I would make something like this for a child unable to put it on or take it off itself. For a carseat, maybe just a flat blanket.
Thank you so much for posting this! Been looking for a super easy pattern for these types of gloves. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with everyone! Have a blessed day!
Very nice pattern and easy to follow tutorial! And by the by, your hands are just fine! They express your creativity and that’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
This is adorable. Do you no longer offer the pattern template for this? It just keeps saying download pending and it says not available on your Etsy site.
I do not sell this pattern any longer at Etsy, but I checked the download and it worked for me. You may need to allow popups briefly to download the free template.
The answer to this question depends on where you live. If you live in the U.S. you need to register your cloth pad business with the FDA as selling a "medical device", and forced to pay a yearly fee of several thousand dollars (every year) just to be legally "allowed" to sell in the U.S. Other countries don't require this, and are more relaxed with it comes to cloth pad sellers.
It tries my patience to thread mine, but patience is the key. It must be done carefully and deliberately. Sergers are so “finicky”… the slightest mistake in threading or tension can make a huge difference. Hopefully, you have a user manual. If you do not, maybe you can find it at the manufacturer’s website for free. Be sure to thread it in the correct spool order and just take your time.
