Make cloth napkins with your Serger - Easy! 

Make your own cloth napkins in two sizes using a serger
If you would like to make your own flannel napkins and rolled-hem cotton cloth dinner napkins using your serger, this video will demonstrate the steps.
I recommend pre-washing and drying all fabric you plan to use for napkins because they will remain the same size if you do this, otherwise, since you will be using cotton, there is sure to be some shrinkage otherwise.
For flannel napkins, you need two 6.5” squares of cotton flannel placed WRONG sides together. You can get 12 napkins from one standard yard of cotton flannel fabric.
For dinner napkins, you need one layer of cotton fabric cut 18” x 18” square. You can get 4 napkins from one standard yard of cotton fabric.
