@@tre5customs113 Ok, I didn't notice the truck had an air-ride suspension, when I made my comment. But when the truck is low, you look 7' 4". As the trucks who don't have a air-ride suspension, are rather tall - like factory original trucks and you towered over this one.
@Tre 5 Customs. I am curious as to why the owner of the OBS Pace truck, didn’t go with the Roadstershop OBS Lo Pro Chassis, with the Independent rear suspension set up? It would have made way more sense since he seems to want the truck to look as “Stock” as possible. He wouldn’t have to raise the bed floor or have a dog house on the rear axle with that chassis and could still have 22” wheels, which is plenty big for an OBS.
Gorgeous truck. Super clean vision and design. It appears all aspects were well executed. Final appearance is exceptional. High fives to all involved in the success of this truck.
Beautiful truck but personally I couldn't live with the right bedside. To me it stands out like a sore thumb and the very first thing my eye catches overshadowing the beauty of the rest of the truck. I get it , comes a time when enough is enough and just drive it. I'd just always approach her from the left side 😉
We talked about fixing some of the previous owner’s damage when addressing all the other issues, but he said kinda what you did… he’s just going to drive the wheels off of it, so he chose not to fix some of those types of issues.
I've noticed on the Cadillac and Franks projects they have the clear protective sheeting on them while your working on them. What is that product. I would like use it to protect my project.
Ok i'm just gonna say it. It's all about the overalls. I don't know your employees name with the overalls but I get so much crap from the wife because I wear them when working on my C10 about looking like "Farmer John". The reality of it is I'm able to get twice as much work done by feeling "free"😂😂 and not getting covered in debris and not to mention keeping cool in the heat. Personally I believe Tre 5 customs should make C10 overalls standard work attire and sell them with a logo on the website. I would be the first to buy them #KEEPTHEC10BOYSFREE 😂😂🤣🤣
That's why when I had mine re-built, I had the machine shop assemble the heads (new valves, springs, guides, etc..), but I re-installed the heads and everything else myself. Peace of mind since you can see inside the cylinders/block that way lol. I know not everyone wants to or is capable of doing that though.
Just my two cents. If it’s a stock 6.0 maybe get a summit, jegs, blueprint 6.0 long block have it painted and throw on the valve covers and intake and you’d be good to go. Like you said though if you’re gonna drop that type of money in a build why not let yall source the motor too or at least buy I it new from a reputable engine builder and have sent to yall smh.
