Satisfaction with this will have to be compared to all other classes first, if we really want to know, how good it is (compared to the other dps classes in the logs after a few weeks). But as always, thank you, excellent content and analysis.
Sorry for the mic in this video. It’s been acting up on me recently even tho nothing has changed on my end, not sure what’s causing it but will try to investigate a fix before next video. Edit: Turns out my cat (Goose) turned the dial on the back of my mic for gain all the way to max sometime last week and i didnt notice untill now
Im all for the throw glaive aesthetic, im a pvper at heart and ever since “bloodlet” was the thing ive loved the idea of just spamming out glaives like Hela from MCU
No one wants to throw glaives on a demonic melee class. The feedback on forums is overwhelmingly against it. I really hope they do anything but this for ST and Pvp. Praying.
@@evn556 The spec is already braindead enough to play, asking us to actually push a 3rd button of course got all of you pissed on the forums 😂 I literally could not care about the opinions of people who cant get glad as dh with how fucking easy it is to play, which is literally 99% of forum dwellers.
Honestly i still dont like it i really hope fel scarred is the meta . Fingers crossed Edit: definitely much better tho . If it gets shipped like this i wouldnt mind it i just want to deal most dmg with fel scarred
Thanks but dunno if during m+ I will be able to put that to use. I guess I will try netherwalk grief when tank pulls and mobs still run then shadowmeld
It's weird, I've just tested it on the dummies in Valdrakken, first from Netherwalk, then simply moving about (127% movement speed) and finally while standing still. Each of the three instances ended in 10 hits. Any idea why ?
to be clear, inertia does not buff Grieftorch. I recommend trying the other methods to get higher grief torch damage before the UBC one, as it was less consistent in my own play testing
Yo, thank u very much for the video. I have a question about stats. in remix I need to pay attention abou the stats cap too?. Like, now I have 7k crit and 8k of mastery. I know that if I pass a % of stat I start to lose bonus of that stat right?. what is your suggestion about stats cap?
Generally the stat drs exist, but you get so many stats you can practically ignore them. Its still good to spread stats around, but you can hard stack and have minimal penalties
Those kinda guides just can give u a general idea . They are so bad to be trusted so biased and nonsense. U have to have a good idea about ur charecter befor reading them so u will know where they are wrong and don't trust them
Signet was originally good (my original guide recommended it) but the fights in the raid ended up being SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than anyone thought (except end bosses) so it lost a lot of value, same with the no mover build
Mastery would be a great buff if it gave % (which isn’t possible since it’s different for each spec). Since it gives raw stats, it gets affected by stat drs, so vers wins out :)
It's so depend on ur build and spec . If ur spec benefit alot from mastery since mastery buff give u flat mastery u can take the buff and see how much mastery% it gives u . U might get deferent % based off of ur current mastery and if u are in dr zone . If it's more than 5 take mastery if not take vers or crit . For me I'm geting around 8% on my dh so I take it
You’d be wasting inertia to do that, I’d recommend doing other methods before doing that, especially since it’s not fully consistent from what I’ve seen. Fel rush is hard to setup solo tho, with tank movement probably easier
@@VooDooSaurus Do we know for a fact if Inertia buffs Grieftorch? I will get it this week so I was not able to do any testing on it. Btw we all knew GriefTorch was the GOAT all along!
@@FelFireGazeTV inertia does NOT buff Grieftorch, but for some reason UBC fel rushes can allow the Grieftorch aoe tick thing, I believe I mentioned it in the video (although I didn’t show it) I’m not sure how consistent it is since I was having trouble setting it up everytime by doing the pulls myself, but I’ve heard others have success
My vengeance is IL 513 but I feel weak I dont get it and play solo I need help!!!! I love the class but having a hard time with 8s even, 9 is the highest I've gone but it's rough I'm like paper
Hey Voodoo, Firstly, I appreciate you Secondly, I like how you make the content and go through everything so thoroughly Regardless and it’s really just an idea; I’m an experienced gamer and I used to play wow; pushing to get back into mythics/raiding whatnot It’s all well and good there’s a million guides on addons, weakaurus etc etc One thing I can’t find is a guide on how to sim your character or your own gear; how to use raid bots and transfer that into that website that tells you what the best drops for you are, what the standards for simming now are it looks like patchwerk parse tests through watching other streamers There’s a large grey area on the step where you go from say lfr/normals in gear and moving forward into starting to sim and figuring out how to start pushing say high keys/heroic/mythic raiding now - this transitional phase isn’t really in any guides I can find anywhere Honestly that’s about it really and it’s just an idea Other than that love you work and appreciate you sir Have a good days
Ps. Raid logs are pretty easy to figure out and you go through those thoroughly in other videos so it isn’t really necessary information it’s really just how to effectively sim that’s really missing from most wow guides I also like some others content creators but you’re currently my favourite There’s also a chance you might not read these or even have time to make guides so yeah it’s really quite a random moment from me
I appreciate it :) To your question, I actually have one from a year ago. It’s a bit outdated bc they changed crafting and the gear upgrade system, but it should be mostly the same. I’m probably going to update it for the war within whenever that’s out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-90kPZgSLKYc.htmlsi=lUwQj8u3jEMlBL_Y
Mastery doesn’t change items or anything into chaos, just hyper scales your own damage. Crit/Haste/Mastery is probably a better set of stats to chase since haste scales procs, but you have so many stats you’ll hit DR, and we like all stats
Hey there. I just picked up WoW and really want to pick up DH. Is this a good class to pick up for a beginner? I’ve always played “assassin” type characters and this class looked tanky paired assassin but don’t know if it’s “noob” friendly.
depends on the build. The No mover builds are incredibly noob friendly, and serve as a good way to be introduced to the spec. The movement builds utilizing fel rush and vengeful retreat are much harder and require a lot more knowledge of where your character is, where you can move to, and what’s going to happen in the fight/dungeon, as well as just knowledge through cooldown tracking, but it offers a good build to grow into. TLDR: no mover is good for beginners, but it is behind the movement builds. Movement builds are more challenging but offer a good thing to aim for
This guide was really helpful (I'm main Veng). Could you do one for raiding too? I'm kinda confused on what are the best trinkets and embellishment for raiding. I saw guides saying completely different things. And as I said, I'm main Veng so I'd likw to optimize my bullions 😊
Will probably do one for raiding, but might not be for a week at least so ill just answer: Trinkets: Grieftorch/Anvil or Grieftorch/Augury (if fights are under 2:30~ minutes). Signet was recommended at the start of the tier but fights are so short now its not worth it Embels: 2x BSL. We have crazy high uptime on it this tier that easily pushes it past Toxic
I mentioned it but i dont think going fully indepth into it is within the scope of the video. DR's will certainly push to having more haste/vers than a normal season, but Crit/Mastery are still the priority
@@VooDooSaurus yeah but its kinda boring to punish stats if you wanna go crazy on something like crit or haste like an abnormal amount like 70 or 80 crit you kinda cant do that as raw stats
A) those are raid recommendations B) those aren’t even the best raid trinkets because fights are so short (anvil+grief normally wins for raid) Anvil and signet are very bad in m+ for havoc
i was farming stormslash for offhand and finally got a myth tier in vault, but it’s been awfully underperforming in M+. Less than 1% of my dmg comes from that. is it better for raid/single target or is it that stormslash isnt that good?
Hey, I love the videos. You have such a concise and compact way of setting these guides up that it lets me know, as a new demon hunter (coming from feral druid), what to focus on. Just two questions if you dont mind. Can you explain why I would use immolation into fel rush TWICE before fighting a mob? Is it a stacking buff? 2nd, if I'm fighting a mob knowing a boss fight is coming up next, would I hold off on the hunt in my aoe rotation so I have it for boss?
Hunt is a really short CD with our current 4 piece (~45 seconds) so I wouldn’t recommend saving it, unless the pack is about to die and won’t survive the full DoT duration. In terms of the imo, inertia stacks up to two times, so I find doing that a little easier and gets both your immolation aura’s rolling at the start with your trinkets. there’s a bunch of different ways to do the opener and I’ve just found that to be easy!
I have one problem with this M+ Ignition build. Sometimes you have less than 10 yards of space. Fell rush and VR brings you in trouble ( fire puddles etc..). However not using them is a major dps loss. Any thoughts about this?
Most scenarios (98%+) you have enough space to find an angle or a direction where you can use those abilities, in the small spots where you can’t you have to just eat the lose and hold for a second, but even there the build is still ahead of no mover variants
Specific questions like that are just pretty impossible to answer without using sims as there’s so much volatility to stats. Would recommend using a Dslice sim and some 5-8 target patchwork sims and see what it says. In all likelyhood tho, you probably have too much haste and might want to up your crit, but you really should be simming for the most accurate answer
