the fan is also for transpiration. you won't see strong growth if the plants cannot properly move nutrients and water through them from the roots to the leaves too hot for lion's mane to fruit, the soil you have the pumpkins in is FULL of trichoderma, that mushroom bag never stood a chance once you cut it open. Try again, hydroponically this time. more efficient nutrient delivery, less chance of fungus gnats, soil holds onto water waaay too long in a grow tent, if you sterilize the grow tent beforehand and regularly wash things you can totally fruit oyster mushrooms in there.

Bro! 1. Check the specifications and radiation characteristics for this LED board. It should hang way lower (40-50cm above canopy) to match the spectrum of these diods. 2. This PPFD app isnt very accurate. Use professional meter and higher PPFD levels (up to 800) to start the photosynthetic engine! 3. Heating mats: You are heating up the root system! Water tents to evaporate upwards in the substrate, while the plant (leaves) itself should be the evaporation hot spot. Natural substrates usually have a cooling effect which helps the plant taking up nutrient and stay cool on hot summer days. Heating up water changes pH-levels! So dissolved nutrients can't be released to the roots completely at some point. 4. Overwatering a stressed root system is.. anyways... nice try

nitrogen burn is like going through a fever with the immune system of the plant overworking itself, but yeah flushing out the soil is probably the worst mistake, plant burn can bounce back easily if you control its indoor environment, and usually it will grow faster when it does

If you ever want to try that "symbiosis" with mushrooms and plants again I can probably send you some grain spawn, liquid culture, or a fruiting block. I kinda dabble in mycology and have started up my grows again because I like eating fresh mushrooms and they're expensive as hell. I think that lions mane wasn't the best choice for the grow room because it really likes cooler areas. An oyster mushroom would be a better choice because they're aggressive growers and seem to get contaminated less often than lions mane.

It’s cheap but reliable. I only have room to grow one per year bout 700sqft. 1275 pb, I think you can smash that!!! Good luck and grow big!

Maybe use a cover crop of clover, that way all the nutrients stay in the soil doesn't get blown away or baked by the Sun. And bonus points if you choose to cut the cover back far enough that it dies you get all the nitrogen that is stored in the nodules of the roots. And possibly for next year pumpkin, you would start your own compost pile. I find the municipal compost to be made of mostly wood. At least in my area. So I feel like it's only half as good as it could be. Personally I get a truckload of the stuff once a year during the free compost events, take that compost and use it as the Browns or carbon source for my compost pile. That way all my nitrogen food scraps can have a balance of carbon to compost into. That way everything is rich in bug and Worm poop. My first giant pumpkin was last year, it was about 60 lb. Because one Vine snuck off behind a bush next to a fence and had two other 50 lb pumpkin just nursing on it. So I got about 150 lb potential out of impulse purchase of seeds. Hopefully this year I can get one Giant one.
