I fully wept over your SONG FOR AMERICA the other day (it's legit been 50 years, you were right then and you're all the more right now), but what I'd love to see is some remasters/remixes of classics like Sparks of the Tempest for "the modern era". And mind, it's the internet, no one's stopping you from rocking an eight-minute prog rock masterpiece - so you should be golden ;) I've grown up on your music and it's still some of the best I've ever heard. This ROCKIN fkn tune oddly reminds me of Savatage but in all honesty,, they were, guaranteed, inspired by you instead.
Why am I seeing this in June 2024. Oh well you probably didn’t come to Alaska this time anyway. I did see you in Kansas once though with Styx in Bonner Springs. There was a lovely light rain that night and you kicked ass. ❤🎼🎶🎵❤️
Hey Rich! I’ll see you in Vegas in September! You may remember me from Columbia, SC IN 1994 at a place called Characters. I have your guitar pic! Hee hee. Please keep living until then.
Most incredible band of all time and most underrated. First time I heard Kansas was the Masque album. It was around late 75/76. Great musicians. Been a fan ever since and still feel the same as I did the first time I heard them. The new Can I Tell You version sounds great!
Looking forward to the D.C./Virginia engagement on March 2 '24! Bought tickets for my nephews too. Like many youth they knew only Carry On, but I gave them a copy of the excellent 30th Anniversary box set which has a DVD of the iconic Kirshner promo performances, and disc 1 has all of Kansas' progressive masterpieces. Now that I've "schooled" then in Kansas Appreciation 101, they're ready!
I love the way this cover pays homage to the cover to the live Two for the Show album! If you can, please go see this band. I saw them 2 years ago and oh my Lord did they bring it !
Woo Hoo! I have NEVER missed a KANSAS concert since the Monolith tour in 1979. Also saw Kerry at Cornerstone in 1984 and 1985 with AD. These guys are the most underrated progressive rock band in the world. If more people would attend concerts like this, it would be a much nicer world to live in. God bless them for keeping the flame alive! 🙏🎹☮️❤️
