This is super helpful. I need to understand what its gonna take to replace my valve springs, and if its worth it. Super helpful, only downside is you make it look easy with how quick the video goes but I know itd take a lot of studying and labeling for me not to mix parts up
That bolt is in the triangle plastic piece against the valve cover. The bolt goes into the head, front corner of the head. This part shows at 4:56 in your video.
Question: at the front of the engine, there is a triangular plastic piece that is down over a skinny bolt, with a , maybe, 7/16 nut on it. How do I loosen that nut, inside that plastic casing, and get the plastic piece off so I can get that bolt out of the head? Please.
What is the triangular plastic piece, it slides down over the bolt at the right front coner of the head? Jeep grand cherokee 04. How do I get that bolt out? I can't get the plastic piece off. Please help. Sunday, 19 May 2024.
I think you’re talking about the plastic that holds down the wiring harness that runs along the valve cover. It’s just a ribbed piece of plastic that sits on the threads to hold it in place and should pop off the top of the bolt with some force
There is an almost unnoticeable scratch on your front passenger side door , you can only see it with the rite light , so "you dont want the butthole" ???? You should build a ramp with the correct trajectory to get you over the moon and back home !!!! Great content , we need this kind of humor !!!! "LUVINOLDTRX"
I can't stand those non reusable clips on Audis. They're so hard to cut off sometimes. Good technique though. I have a bad habit of not wanting to take certain things out, so if I were in your shoes I'd sit there and try and remove the pump with the alternator in even though it would end up taking more time in the long run.
Fighting with this mofo now. Nearly every clip.... broken. I really don't get why Jeep made these so hard to remove. I have 3 of the lower intake bolts out and took a break to look up some vids. Great job!
what sealant did you use for the front driver side head bolt? Did you just put it on the shank before putting into the hole or was there some type of o-ring/crush washer? Thx for the video. Great job
Thank you! It’s been a while but I think it was about 2 ish hours to get off and 2 ish to put back together but that was with filming and camera angles. If you are mechanically inclined I would say 4 hours total give or take
