This is a how to video where I show you how to replace the power steering pump on an Audi A4 and also giving out helpful tips and tricks.

Pentosin CHF 11S is the best hydraulic fluid for Audi and Pentosin G12 pink coolant is the best , Audi calls specifically for both

I like the way you tackled it from the top. Removing the alternator gives great space for taking out the power steering pump. Some guy from the UK did it through the passenger wheel well on a 1.8T engine. Anyway I’m inspired haha nice 👍🏽

Good video. FYI it's a B7. The rack and pinion will fail prematurely if it is OEM Audi If CHF 11S or genuine Audi power steering fluid isn't used.

dude this video gave me the confidence to order a new one and do it my self. My mechanic wants 900 bucks for this shit. I could easily do this. I have a 2002 audi a4 1.8t. My steering makes loud noises and the power steering is really weak.

Can you give me advice on removing the banjo bolt? Mine is stuck. Unfortunately the union washer (not sure if that’s the correct name) is turning but not the bolt. Any feedback would be appreciated! 🙏🏽

I can't stand those non reusable clips on Audis. They're so hard to cut off sometimes. Good technique though. I have a bad habit of not wanting to take certain things out, so if I were in your shoes I'd sit there and try and remove the pump with the alternator in even though it would end up taking more time in the long run.
