You worked hard, but this is simple build, if you put more effort and try to do a bit difficult stuff, for example build oval table or hexagonal tables cutting difficult angles and do mortise joints people would credit you more, because it shows you have better skills.

They look great but Why not use a copper pipe cutter. Nice and clean cut. Put the cartridge into your electric drill chuck, then attach the pipe cutter at the desired end and start the drill on low setting. Obviously holding onto the cutter carefully.

do ANY OF THESE RU-vidrs know that their wooden structures are way too close to the fire opening?? hmm?? this guy is clueless. This thing is truly a fire hazard. IF thats a Fake fireplace...??then fine... otherwise its not gonna pass code when you go to sell that house. No way.

I enjoyed watching the process with you starting from scratch. I like how you also showcased all the mistakes along the way as it’s helpful for us beginners to know some mistakes we might also make and finding solutions for them. Love the table!!

Is there a way to stiffen the covers? With card stock inserts? Or hardening compound?
@WatchMeDIYIt
@WatchMeDIYIt 9 месяцев назад
Possibly if you make it with two layers and some sort of hard board in between. I made this for a friend because he wanted to be able to roll it and quickly stick it in his bag during outdoor activities.

your calculation for the length of sofa is off. Width of 2 X 4 is around 1.5 inch. so it should be (25.5 * 3) +3 = 79.5 ?
@DhavalShah01
@DhavalShah01 Год назад
i mean instead of adding 2 inches shouldnt you be adding 3 inches?
@WatchMeDIYIt

This was to get the length of the surface for the cushions.

That must be the ugliest table i have ever seen.!😅 If you go to all the trouble to built a table atleast go to the trouble to sand away the very rough places and get the thickness of the planks even. If you are adamant to paint it in the end why not first apply a waterproofing wood undercoat first.? Then paint it a shade of green to blend in to the surroundings. Certainly not shit brown i would think. But everyone to his own i suppose.!😅
