@@WatchMeDIYIt It was great seeing you the other night. You mentioned making sculptures for your daughters. Send me pictures of what you want made to lpalladini_100@hotmail.com . I would need pictures from the sides, top, back in order to make the sculptures. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Louis
Awesome work Mario, came out really nice. Looking for this year’s home project. Wonder if I can take on finishing the basement. Hope all is well and work is going great, take care.
Vanessa Thompson Thanks! From the research I did, there are plenty of layers (rocks and sand) already impeding the growth of weeds, so there wouldn’t be a need for a weed barrier. The other component that helps with that is the polymeric sand. If installed properly, it will seal the gaps between the pavers and prevent weed growth. I did a smaller walkway and a similar sized patio recently (video out in a few months), but without the 1” layer of bagged paver base, and there hasn’t been any weed growth. Good luck if you decide on tackling a small patio installation. 👍🏽
@@WatchMeDIYIt , Thank you for the response. Oh I already made up my mind to do. Now, I'm trying to figure out the "easiest" way. I think I'm going to do the paver base pads cuz it only says you need to dig down 3 inches, so I won't need a lot of sand. So I'm thinking level it out, weed barrier (since mine wont be as deep as yours) then the gravel, then sand, the paver base pads then my pavers, then the sand you was talking about, then the edging, and I'm done!!!! I like how you showed it can be done solo! You did a great job and definitely showed me that I can very well do it myself 👍😁
