I'm staying in Puerto at the moment. Only found your walkabouts a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for your regular content, it's been very useful! I will be back but maybe a different hotel next time 👍🏼
What a wonderful walk this evening ! What is the name of the place in Calle A. De Bethancourt where you get these Cocktails ? One day I will come to PdlC again ...... not sure when !
At last no music and yes the best playa on the island (need a car or guagua number 910 every 15 minutes from Santa Cruz Intercambiador) Could we add that along it there are south american food cafes and above it there are more places to hike and sunbathe, but need a car. Meridiano is just opposite the bus station and a bit further for shopping we have the Corte Ingles department store and across the road a small shopping mall with a Mediamarkt... Carrefour is a french hypermarket chain so one can find a few french products there. More shopping in la Laguna with Alcampo (Auchan) and other stores... Huge chinese bazaar in the vicinity.
Nice excursion to the South ! These Mega Shopping Malls are too big for me ..... I prefer the smaller ones ..... good that you left and went to the beach, Steve !
...and Meridiano isn't a mega mall, just a normal sized one like the one you certainly have at your place, it is the Carrefour supermarket which is quite huge. Anyway quite useful on hot days with the A/C...
Love this area. I had the pleasure of exploring this scenic area some 10 years ago. We got a taxi up to the Anglican church, and walked all the way down to the coast. Stunning area. There were water gardens some way down the hill. I understand that the water gardens have since closed. They were lovely to walk around. Thanks for sharing this video, and all your videos .👍
Only 63 days to go until my next visit. I'm already looking forward to running through the park in the early hours of the morning before breakfast. And playing on my practice pad in the late afternoon to improve my skills as a pipe band drummer.
Parque Taoro is possibly my most favourite place in Puerto. I have many very happy memories of going there with my parents, both walking around the grounds and enjoying a meal and a drink at the restaurant, and if ERNIE ever takes pity on me and draws my numbers first then once the hotel is finished I wouldn't mind staying there for a while!
We walked that rd, and the little winding path that leads up towards the cafe for the first 3 weeks of this month. Wonderful, and what a pleasure to have breakfast overlooking the Grand Taoro Hotel construction. It's historic yet some moan about the noise. We really enjoyed the whole thing and we loved the lizards in the the park opposite. We went round daily especially to feed them and the pigeons. We love them so much that we both had a tenerife tattoo each 😁 they started to come out of the rocks to take food from our hands 😅
We were in lago martienez this morning........lovely swim (cold to get in mind) but nice and refreshing from the heat. Then off for a bocodillo and a cafe con leche I think its called the city cafe? then a stroll.
Thanks David. If it’s the one I think it is it’s called blue sea interpalace it’s in the la Paz area that looks down on the town. Don’t know much about it though. Thx
Didn't trust my eyes when reading comments of that 'professor' , it made me speechless ! We are all enjoying NTM vids because you give us the feeling we live there. I know what I am saying - I lived and worked in PDLC and my Spanish is good. SO KEEP UP THE GOOD MOOD AND WORK ! THX Steve !
@@ntm-northtenerifeman5749 have to watch it how could I yawn without watching ? It's a bit of a repeat though No interaction with canarians, pity... Language barrier I suppose...
