Today I am visiting Los Roques on the outskirts of the town of Puerto de la Cruz. These are two huge rocks that have broken away due to sea erosion.

We were going to go down that path on our last visit, but the sign said not to because of falling rocks. We might just venture on our next visit. We love off the beaten track places. We don't do beach or pool bathing because we find it boring when there's so much to explore 😊

Do you know that 'Los Roques' means 'The Rooks/Castles' (as in the chess pieces)? Hence the name given to las dos rocas. I'm coming through in 8 days. Yay!

It is a great place to see, but that awful path again, parts of it look like you should be wearing a hard hat the overhanging rocks are so close and that hotel still looks like it's about to collapse into the sea!

What a mysterious path ! Obstacles of all kind - a path for the brave ones like NTM ...... the scenery of Los Roques could serve for a film production, isn't it ? Fantastic !
