To be fair... With the amount of much cheaper cnc control gardware out there, one could always put Centroid controllers on a messed up machine. But it is a pain in the ass and its not for everyone.
I would try changing gears with the air connected. Many machines need air for gear changes to work as they are air operated. Not sure about yours but worth a try
Great work man, full cycle engineering, design and manufacturing, use ANSYS dor FEA next time to test your design before committing and now AI can do a whole lot more for you
Great video. I am currently trying to get one of mc560v running. I'm getting spindle servo alarm and servo is showing fault 3. Any ideas or connections who might be able to help?
One word of advice from me would be to have you post processor modified to remove any redundant/unnecessary code i.e. G00>G0 G01>G1 G02>G2 etc.etc. if the control will accept it that way. Those old fanuc controls had VERY little memory and it adds up VERY fast.
I watch stuff like this for entertainment. One thing that caught my attention is that you are the first machinist to wear gloves while working that i have ever seen.
I love that Titan box, very simple but very powerful. It has 2 usb inputs, so usually you use a usb stick to transfer between your pc and the titan. You can however get a WiFi usb stick, then you don’t even need to move the memory stick. Just plop your G code file into the shared folder and it appears at the titan!
