As a flooring installer this is not genius. Remove the baseboard and don't worry about perfect cuts. I think it's a cool idea for the corner, but now he has to cut the rest of the vinyl perfectly for literally the rest of the install without leaving any gaps. If he does, he's screwed and there are no redos on vinyl. Even for a seasoned flooring installer that would be closento impossible to make all ur cuts perfect. U get one shot. That's it.
This is so useful I guess. He also didn’t install the flooring under the baseboard? He did a nice cut but it’s not going to be supported unless he’s going to add support on top of that making it look extra ugly. Weird Or you could just get the proper measurements? Not sure what’s the need for all that excess flooring.
Странные люди, плинтуса обычно ставятся сверху на линолеум и закрывают щель между линолеумом и стеной 5 мм которую нужно оставлять на случай температурного расширения линолеума.
Hi Lads, thanks for the video it's a great help. Can I ask, most of the panelling strips come in a 2.4m length . Stairs would need a longer length. Do you bevel the edge if you butt too lengths together or mitre the joints?
My god, it’s been a long time but finally I’ve managed to find somebody who actually cuts on a scrap of something rather than cutting on the freshly laid floor…!
