Rewriting history to suit an expansionist narrative, justifying proxy incursions, ethnic cleansing, genocide, providing safe havens and proxy violence, is unfortunately not uncommon. Even on our own doorstep, the Republic of Ireland have totally rewritten and sanitised, not only Dublin's part in Irish history, but also foolishly inserted a part of this fictionalised version of history, into their constitution and national anthem. As evidence for all to see and verify their abuse of history. "A Nation Once Again" or “reunification” are fictional, concepts, fantasy, nonsense statements, as there was never a sovereign Southern Irish government that governed Ulster, now called Northern Ireland. Ulster or Britain have been the only two historical rulers of Ulster. Ulster was independent kingdom before being subdued and ruled by the British, conquered centuries after our Southern Irish neighbours. “A Nation Once Again” for Ulster, now unfortunately called Northern Ireland, would be independence, should it eventually decide to split with the UK. Definitely not the disaster that unification would bring, as incessantly promoted by the Republic of Ireland and used frequently as a justification for proxy violence and disruption.

@Cacbo774 Educate yourself , the 9 county Ulster was an English invention for administrative purposes. The clue is in the word 'county' . As such it has no historical relevance. The borders of the ancient Kingdom of Ulidia were around the area of modern day Antrim ,Down and part of Londonderry. The people known as the Feni were from Southern Ireland, they were an itinerant race . The people of Ulidia were called Cruthin by the Feni, Cruthin is the Gaelic word for Pict.
