It’s pure hell being addicted to fentanyl. Ive been addicted to heroin for 18 years and the 2 years being addicted to fentanyl was the absolute worse. Such desperation and despair seeping through your pores everyday. All priorities are swept to the side bc your main focus is to chase getting unsick. You are a beautiful woman and I am rooting for you everyday!
She seems like she's doing a lot better than what I've seen. But probably because she's tapering and still getting some of the drug. If she went cold turkey, she'd be delirious and wouldn't even be able to make this video.

Hello my lovely. I just want to say well done on fighting your addiction. I have been there on numerous occasions now four years clean nearly , I’m also an ex prisoner who has just started my own RU-vid aup talking about mental health addiction and lots of other stuff and I would be privileged if you could come on and tell your story one day when you’re able to, think it would be really good go live together because you’re an officer and I’m an extra prisoner xx
Thank you so much! That’s amazing, well done 👏🏻 ohh wow, it would be amazing to come on and speak for sure 😁 I no longer work in a prison but it would still be fab to chat with you x
@@amieelizaa brilliant my lovely it would be amazing to have you on there. I am quite new. I’m not the most professional. I’m quite laid-back LOL yes I’m aware you’re not a prison officer anymore but I think that is a good thing to give your perspective on an ex officer and my perspective as an ex prisoner and maybe talk about your journey a little bit if you wouldn’t mind, whenever you’re ready to do it, let me know hun I hope you’re well. You’re doing amazing. Xxx
So good to hear from you! You look really well :) Well done on doing all those things to help your pain and general health. Giving up fentanyl is a HUGE achievement. Thanks for the good news about getting the right diagnosis. I know from my own experience that it's very important. POWER to you on your journey to robust health ✨️ Best wishes from Colin in Edinburgh 👍
God be with you and may you never ever ever feel like this again. In the name of my Lord Jesus Christ King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You are loved more than you or I could possibly know.
I've been off pain meds since Dec 30, 2020 after an 11 year dependence due to an assault followed by a horrific car accident 2 years later. At the end, I was taking 28-35 perc 10s a day... I was fed up and I was done. I went to suboxone and it's crazy how much less I hurt. With a broken neck/smashed jaw/ etc the only time I feel pain is when I lay down at night... it feels like electricity is zapping my legs... but that's it. I do really well with suboxone for pain management. I don't envy your position one iota.
🎉 impossible i don't believe your drug explanation, because you as a woman has lots of opportunity to get any good things on the EARTH 🌎, BUT MAN LIFE IS MORE TENSION 😮, LOOK YOUR CHOICE MAN , EMINEM, CRISTIANO, OR GREAT PERSON LIKE MASTER SHI HENG YI 🎉🎉🎉
You can do this, I know you can! Acknowledging is the first step to making a change in your life. A lot of times people want to cover up the pain they have experienced and it from what I was reading is highly addictive with horrible side effects with withdrawal. You will get through this and talking about your story on here is an amazing acknowledgment to what you have gone through. Don’t give up and understand that they are putting all kinds of deadly chemicals in that stuff, so much it is killing people and you deserve a better life than that.
I’m 18 days clean from fentanyl I’m on Suboxone right now I’m trying to slowly get off that as well but I been on fentanyl for 4 years I’m a 21 m. Love your accent btw lol love from the Bay Area keep it up
That’s amazing! I hope it’s still going well for you. It’s a horrible process but you’ve made a huge first step so should be proud of yourself! Thank you 😁
Sadly, because I’ve been on it for so long, no matter how slowly I go, it’ll be tough. Because it is in patch form and not liquid, you have to jump down quite drastically
Hope your ok. Thats crazy you got on fentynal. Its normally in USA. I was addicted to crack and heroin for 15 years. I have come off the methadone and now on subutex 2ml
I have been able to be sober from fetty and crack for a lil over 2 months and I detoxed from a heavy habit in jail 23 hours in the cell a day just have to tough out the entire time i stopped being sick after a week but I got on Suboxone a while back which has been a big help personally but I gotta say the withdrawal was far worse with the subs one time when my script ran out before I could get more and it was far worse than fetty
Really love your videos, I got addicted to opiates through doctor here in UK 🇬🇧 too. In hospital they put me in morphine, then exchanged it for methadone, I didn't have a clue what all these meds were, even prescribed diazepam. 8 years later Im still on methadone and a diazepam prescription 😮. But yeh live your videos ❤
It’s bad that people think it’s only in the US that this happens but it happens here too! I’m sorry you went through all of that and are still working through it all, it’s so tough!
@@amieelizaa for sure yes it not just the US, just as bad here in the UK too 🇬🇧. Have you tried looking going onto a Buprenorphine patch/tablets and wean down from that, basically Subutex. I have heard success stories of ppl switching from fentanyl to Bupe and having great success. No1 understands withdrawals like we do, and the I depending doom when you know it's coming 😭 . Lovely to here from you. 🇬🇧🙂🙏
Just ran across this video. Probably because I too deal with addiction. I have been on suboxone for many years. I got off everything else and even got down to half a strip a day but I just can't get off. I get so sick and then eventually relapse. I am sending you so much love and light. From one stranger friend to another. ❤
Did you get through it? I know it’s hard, but detoxing your body you’ll feel some better in time. You are a beautiful, smart woman. You want children and that alone should be enough to fight through this!
They reduced you way too fast and by WAY too much at a time. Why on earth did they do that to you!? For other people you can cut the patches for smaller doses. This is not right.
Hey Amie, just came across your vids now and find them very interesting and helpful!, If only people could understand how brutal this process is!, well done for having the courage 👏 to go thru with this!, ive had many a battle with it myself over the years and know what your going thru ❤ All the best to you and hope you well now!, much Respect 🙏 to u Girl!, u are a warrior 💖💙💛xxx
I'm in a very similar situation after loosing my leg I was put on high amounts of oxycontin, I hate it so much yet I love it so much , I hate the pain yet the opiates don't do much as I'm taking them not to be sick , withdrawaling from opiates is horrific even worse than having my leg chopped off
