This is brilliant, such a great idea. So many people talk about whats there, the pilots, the models but nobody talks about the "other stuff" like how to get there, where to stay, whether to fly or to drive, how much it will cost. Great work! Some pretty devilishly handsome hosts as well, if I do say so myself! 😆
Wow, the spacial awareness, control and precision of this young pilot is amazing! With the two other jets flying at the same time, in one moment hovering almost in front of him but he stayed abslolutely focused! This young man ha a bright future in front of him! Great video, thaks a lot!!
Been with Futaba for over 30 years & had all their high end radios. They refuse to keep up with what's really current. They make their product so complex to learn and operate so that after you've learned so much, it's really hard to want to switch to another brand, but I'm trying. Would love to move to Powerbox Core or maybe Jeti, just have so much invested in Fooltaba. However, being old school, I still like the Fooltaba look.
Thanks for the feedback, I’m really glad you found it useful. I’m also aiming to attend next year but also have Pro Wing and Joe Nall on my list, along with Southern Airshow and Weston Park 🙈
Completely agree. There was two at the event, the second is in the walk around video on the Airworld stand. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5RCQBUD-7jg.htmlsi=I9-4kOKbCPJ4Xb6b
Not better than Fpv drone, Fpv drones are more powerful, durable, faster, more maneuverable, come with cameras in general and have 4 motors for propulsion. They can also fly in an any direction while looking/facing an object and move more freely.
Take a file to the blade guard / riving knife support and file the front to a taper so there is no blunt edge to catch on material as it makes contact. This saw is really best for balsa, basswood and ply.
I started with Futaba and migrated away. For me, there are two big questions/concerns with the color screens -do they completely wash out in sunlight and are they viewable wirh polarized sunglasses. This is where the lower end touch screenradios fail, and also where traditional LCD screens do great. LCDs seem obsolete until you actually use them in sunlight. I also think a layout like Jeti where the main screen is above the gimbals makes it much more functional, even if the display is smaller. Thanks for thorough overview!
Best ever performance I saw ...., however, this could easily lead to collision, as they can not control the position of the aircraft in relation to the second aircraft(very different compare to pilots sitting inside the cockpit...
Hi. You will need to look up what protocol your receive uses and see if it is the same as one of the ones that is in the list, it it is just select that one and it should work. If not, the I doubt it will work with your RX
I just can’t get past the OS looking like something from the early 90s. I’d be really disappointed if I’d spent that sort of money on it. 😮. Thanks for the video though Matt 👍🏻
Matt about time you reviewed frsky more features and better than this for only 400 quid . Won’t look back if you do. On my turbines I get full telemetry on a screen of my own choosing. I loved futaba in the past but it’s way behind the times
The cost for the 32 too substantial for minimal features. I would paying you to demonstrate the additional 14-channel feature that's available out of the box. Unfortunately I only see 18 channel available. For the cost it would be nice to have the stick data recording for play back to trouble shoot a crash. However, the TX to RX connectivity is quite solid😇
Futaba has always been expensive. I think part of the reason people buy them is just to brag how much they spent on one. I don't even know why I'm watching this video, I love my Radiomaster Boxer too much.
I bought and returned mine to Futaba USA last year because I was disappointed with the low quality display resolution! Bigger but no better or even worse then my T18SZH transmitter. How can DJI make the DJI Pro Controller with a high definition screen for a fraction of the price? Futaba should know better especially at $3000.00!!! Anyway this was when they had a large discount during the holidays - but it was still too much money and not enough wow to get me to buy it:(
The low resolution screen is really noticeable when you upload a picture of your model to it. Really pixelated and only supports 168x80 but will downscale from 640x480.
Hi Matt, I would like to ask you a question. Is there a way to put the audio in Spanish? I put the station in Spanish but the audio is still in English. Thank you so much
I’m not at home at the moment so can’t check the transmitter directly. Futaba have in the past released separate firmware files for different et languages. There is nothing listed on their website under downloads for the T26 at the moment. I would expect the audio files to be translated in a later release of the firmware or a seperate firmware.
I’m new to CC ESCs and stumbled upon your video trying to program one I that came in a second hand F-22 I purchased. It’s paired with an AR8360T. Without adding a telemetry kit, is there way to get some telemetry sent to the 8360 if I run into one of the other ports? It’s currently on port 1 for throttle. My main goal is to program reverse thrust and I’m afraid of activating any brake after reading the comments. What setting slows it down between thrust directions? If I pull idle, the forward air can be spinning it quite a bit. Thanks
Hi, I unfortunately don’t have any experience with soektrum at the moment. I will expect you need to use the castle link at that will convert the single to the correct protocol for the RX to receive and send. It looks like they use the X-Bus protocol www.castlecreations.com/en/telemetry-link-for-xbus-010-0148-00
Both are great transmitters. I currently still have both of them. If you can stretch the. I would got for the T16IZ Super or the standard one (non super). This will future proof yourself a bit more. Be aware that the T16IZ has dropped the FASST protocol, which in fairness is an old protocol. This is due to EU regulations.
