Very interesting vid, made me think. I’ve noticed over my checkered fishing journey. If bite shut down, same fish behaviour can be replicated over a large area throughout system. Conversely if on, can be on for all the fish in that vicinity. Am I wrong?
I think you are very spot on with that, theres always going to be a reason why they aren't biting such as Air pressure, temperature and moon phases. One thing I noticed recently that I was catching alot of fish around rocks that come out of the water, and that's because they were warming up from the sun 👍
@@jcsfishingshenanigans It’s an interesting point to start from with that kind of footage you get. Kind of like a “control” point in an experiment. It would be cool if you started with one like “s factor” for a week or two before trying another type. The results will be there for us to see in the way they do or don’t eat.
Another great vid JC. On tuff days try 1/8 to 1/16 oz with 3 inch prawn down to 1 1/2 inch yabby. On light gear & slow rolling with the current, it just works.
Not sure if this is a dumb question but why were those 80cm+ looking flathead getting spooked by a 'dying mullet'. I find it really interesting because you would think that at that size they are fearless
That's a really good question. There are sooo many factors involved that I haven't completely figured out yet, ultimately they are far more intelligent and complicated than the average Flatty. some days they just are not after a big feed, or are hungry for something very specific, just to name a few
Mate I got mad respect for you guys who cam chase squid like that. I think years of hunting barra has numbed me to smaller species, you have made me wanna slow things down and try things like this 🤙
Classic cinematography....leopard crawling across the sand, pigs 🐖 tickling ya feet, fish throwing the lure, camera pole caught up in trees whilst driving....one of your best efforts....😂 loved it....😅
