@JC I've only just discovered your channel. You have captured some of the best footage going, both above and below water. Have you tried using assist hooks on your surface lures, hook retention is much better than trebles.

Hi Jack whisper, Thanks for watching mate, I appreciate it. My surface lure I was using has two treble hooks on it, but the plastic I was using didn't have an assist

Love your footage, but those big lures?, would those fish ignore a 3 inch minnow on a 1/8 2/0 jighead?, no way, and your hookup rate would be higher..

Cheers mate. Well you are definitely right about the hook up rate, however I've been using 3 inch minnows for years, however since switch to 5 inch plus lures I've caught more 70cm plus fish this year then I have in all those years combined
