Dear Master. Can you tell me the characteristics of the device for the mechanical application of the composition on the stones? Do you make the cement mixture that you apply yourself or buy a ready-made shotcrete?
@fauxrock

The device is a simple cement pump, and I mixed my own mixes for it. Thanks for watching my video.

I use a universal mold release that I purchased from Smooth On rubber. Also use Smooth On urethane brush on series rubber

So is the finer sand for the outer splatter better for smoother? Or does it matter what size sand particle if you scrape and sand off the outside?
@fauxrock
@fauxrock 5 дней назад
To create a smoother texture, you would do two things one use a finer sand to make your mix a little more liquid. To make a mix that will create a rougher texture use larger size, sand, and dryer mix the thicker the mix the more coarse the texture becomes. Thanks for watching my video.

I utilize many different formulations for my Cement mixes, depending on the application. Due to the fact that I have a lot of RU-vid viewers that will not ever participate with me as a paying customer I generally use a mortar mix that I buy premix from Lowe’s or Home Depot, which was the case in this video. There are many performance enhancements to increase characteristics that can be applied or formulated.. if you’re interested further you can always give me a call to discuss my services 971-237-2957. Well, thank you very kindly. I appreciate that and I appreciate you watching my video. I have developed several different formulations for many applications . I truly believe that increasing the strength of the mix allows us to use less which at the end decreases our weight
