nice principle based approach, i am a boxing fan and hobby boxer with my base beeing wrestling / luta Livre.....so to me Frames / framing is the main "bridge" between this two different, strategic disiplines! In armed combat like fencing for example there is always a blending of strikes and blocks and frames....unfortunatly most boxing traininers dont incorperate the grappling tools like this in their training....Thanks for the nice video...Oss
Love most of the info however cuss did not call it peekaboo, that credit can be given to the haters of his time who used that term to downplay this magnificent style, even I don’t refer to it as such seeing as how it was an insult
Thank you, Viteri Boxing. I am a southpaw switch hitter that utilizes a lot of shifting within my boxing arsenal. Shifting while remaining defensively responsible is a very effective technique. In my opinion, the Russian boxers Dmitry Pirog, GGG, and Matvey Korobov are the best boxers that I have studied utilizing the shifting technique. I’m a southpaw boxer. Please watch Matvey Korobov vs Jose Uzcategui in the 7th round of their fight. Matvey Korobov sends Uzcategui twice to the canvas with two knockdown combinations utilizing shifts.
Always great and understandable explanations from you. Have been watching you for a while now. A lot of people don't realize this, even coaches themself only teach 1 guard and expect you to use it forever. Guard depends on range, and on opponent, depending if my opponent is taller, shorter, has longer or shorter hands, his boxing style, aggresive or keeping his distance.
Hi, I just found your channel and i think it's a great channel. I've been an admirer of boxing and mixed in other stuff into it since I was a kid and I now want to look into your style you mentioned at the end of this video. Is this program for certification?
